Service was slow. That happens, just be prepared, you will be there awhile. We got the rack of ribs special. It came with salad bar which was okay. Mashed potatoes werenât homemade. The biggest issue was the ribs came in two halves and one half was very cold. The bone was even cold. We told the server and she said the owners were right over at the bar and she would ask them to come over. Quite awhile later she can back and had taken $5 off the $19.95 rib special. That was fine but seemed like it should have been half off. Probably the most unsettling thing was they didnât seem concerned that we started eating the ribs until we realized how cold they were. And to top it off, a place mat fell off the table next to us. Face down. Meaning the side that you are serve on was touching the floor. The hostess put it back on the table for the next customer. Those things probably cost a couple cents. And now some person will pretty much be eating off the floor. Ick. So sorry but it was a busy night and we have been a little short staffed at times. That is why we were working the bar and didnt get over there. We also were not concerned about the cool ribs cause they are fully cooked ahead of time and were not raw. Our mashed are homemade. I will tell my waitresses about the place mat or anything that falls on the floor. We have a very well liked business and are packed on the weekends Most of our reviews are good. Sorry to dissapoint you. My husband and I work about 70 hrs a week each for the last 11 years and can only control so much.

Recommended by friends. On a Saturday night at 6;30 it was empty which made us nervous. But the onion rings were good. Home made. Not greasy and cooked in fresh oil. I had the Fish and Chips. Well done. The fish was crispy and had a the proper fish taste, not old grease taste. My friends and I would go back there.

I walked-in just looking to have a single beer and check the place out on the way to another place and ended-up really loving this place. Why?1) Beautiful old curved bar and back bar.2) Clean, comfortable, and up-to-dateâincluding per-table âpour your ownâ tappers.3) Friendly owner and bartender.4) Decent beer selection.5) Fair prices. And I hear that their food is great too. But, overall, the place just has a totally comfortable feel to it. This will become a regular place for me to visit whenever Iâm in town.

Right off of US2 and Highway 41. This restaurant offers a full service bar, great list of appetizers, a variety of specialty Bloody Mary's, and American style food. Now offering pizzas, and probably most famous for our wings and homemade sauces. Half pric
unique burgers. loved it! great atmosphere for both adults and children, with a Route 66 decor and children's good brought to them in cardboard fifties "cars." Friendly wait staff.

Stopped by for a Saturday lunch while passing through ... looks to be a popular rural hangout ... friendly capable staff ... by the look of the size of the kitchen, the cook must be a miracle worker on a busy night. We both had a chicken sandwich, both excellent ... I had the BBQ. They looked to have a monster Bloody Mary that a couple was enjoying at the bar ... something to ask about ??

This is a great restaurant in a small town.
We sat at a Nice corner table by the window, house salad was excellent. We ordered the special whitefish with shaved almonds served with choice of baked or French fries. We did baked. Everything was very tasty. Staff was good and attentive enough - not intrusive. Itâs been a while since weâve been there. Iâd recommend going.

I had the beef brisket and my wife had the perch. Very accommodating service with quality food. The waitress was very attentive and brought take-out containers without being asked. I would definitely return here to try other meals. Great family seating and willingness to move table to accommodate group size.

Whenever we visit Escanaba, we stop here. This time we had their delicious smokey flavored reuben sandwich and the black salmon salad. Both were excellent. Extra pickles cost a dollar. The server (Jacob) was very knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive.
