Most surfaces I saw appeared to be sticky. All surfaces I came in contact with were sticky. Waited forever for a refill on beverages. Server took our glasses along with others from neighboring tables returned with same glasses all on same tray. Who knows whos germs they tried to serve my family. We requested new glasses for our table. Took forever to get them and at least half were still dirty. I question if they even got us new ones or lazily tried to give us back the same ones by walking around a corner and standing for a few seconds. Most of the staff were unengaged and just rushing around.... doing what im unsure as most of the buffet items were clearly aged past prime and many drinks on neighboring tables remained unfilled, and again sticky everything everywhere.

This is a small Japanese restaurant with a substantial menu. The sushi is nicely prepared and presented. Other dishes such as noodles and tempura and prepared with car. Located in sort of a strip mall, it is easily missed, but worth the effort to find it.

Stopped in solo after work day on a cold evening. Very quiet night at this restaurant. Initial service super fast and attentive. Food was quite delightful- I ordered edamame and salmon teriyaki bento box. Service waned after food delivered but that didn’t bother me much. I will stop back while in town.

I am noticing so many positive reviews that it makes me think maybe I need to give it another shake. I was impressed with the idea and menu options, but quite disappointed with the food. I ordered the Thai green curry and switched the shrimp for tofu. To their credit, the tofu was pretty good. That’s about it. The noodles were way over cooked and the sauce was very heavy and overwhelming - not like what I’d expect in a Thai curry dish. I don’t see any other review commenting on this dish, so maybe it was just a bad choice. If I can I’ll try to stop in again some time and try something different.

We are there for the first time and thought the food was okay. We ordered the dinner portion for the Beef Bulgogi and Chopchae. The portion size was large but nothing came with the dinner. They should have offered a spring roll, soup, salad or dumpling with a dinner portion so we were disappointed. We had the chicken wings for an appetizer but it was very salty. Service was good.

I like authentic noodles much more than my wife, but I still don't know what I'm doing and barely understand what is going on as the staff at authentic noodle restaurants don't speak English as their first language. That said once I picked a dish it was fantastic. The broth was amazing. The noodles are delicious and no where near that fake stuff you get from ramen packs at the grocery store. There was some pork in my dish that was tough, but very flavorful. My wife ordered a rice bowl and it was huge. It was very tasty too. Again not my wife's favorite style of food, but she gave in to my choice and at least left full.I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. I would add that if you haven't had authentic ramen before do a little research first. If you have you will be very happy with this restaurant.

Stopped in looking for spicy Thai while on business in the area. A bit hidden (main door at back of building) and worth finding. Offers many levels of heat for food, great variety, and quick and attentive service. Also has a kids menu and a bar (including Thai beers). Not at all busy on a December weeknight, but should be! Had good takeout traffic.

A group of friends met here for lunch on a Sunday. Many restaurants in Grand Rapids are closed on Sundays, so it's always nice to discover one that is open.We had fried dumplings as an appetizer, and they were extremely tasty. Five pieces in the order which came with a dipping sauce. I had the Sushi Combo A, which includes five pieces of sushi chosen by the chef and a California roll. I also had the miso soup. The soup was part of the combo and tasted very good. I was very pleased with the five pieces I received. There was salmon, tuna, shrimp, and two I didn't recognize - one pale and one dark like preserved fish that was tied with a band of seaweed around the rice. Five plus the roll were plenty of food for me. I also tried a couple of pieces of the others' dishes: the Playboy roll was very impressive and delicious, I didn't care for the beef teriyaki roll.Other members of the group had hibachi instead of sushi, so people who don't like sushi should definitely feel comfortable joining their sushi-loving friends. There were several options like that. Aside from the dining room with regular tables, the lounge area on the other side of the bar has stuffed chairs and couches so you could sit there and eat instead. Everyone who used the restrooms remarked on their luxuriousness, but I did not see that for myself on this visit.I was very impressed by this place and am looking forward to returning. I thought the prices were reasonable and the service was excellent.
