Things to do in Fremont
Earlier this year my wife and I had a delightful dinner here during their opening couple of weeks. Some rough edges but nothing that a new restaurant could not work through. Our thought was why not try it again and last night we did. Never to return.Have you ever been seated in a restaurant and then totally ignored? This was the first time that it happened to either of us. We were greeted pleasantly by the hostess. We were asked if we had a reservation, which we did not. We were asked if we had a preference for seating. With about half of the tables empty we asked if there was a window seating available, we were offered bar room table or dining room table and took the latter. The Hostess offered menus, took our bar order, set water and silverware. So far, so good.We sat and admired the golf course setting. We sat and commented about the service being good to the tables around us. We sat and discussed how good the menu selections looked as served at other tables. We sat and chatted. We sat and waited for our drinks. We sat and waited for a waitress. We sat.We observed 3 waitresses and the hostess chatting around the hostess station and we sat. A total of 20 minutes from our drink order. No drinks delivered, no contact at all. We stood and walked to the hostess stand and the 3 waitresses walked away laughing. The waitress looked at us and said, "have a good evening". I responded, "obviously you can cancel our drink order" and got the response, "OK" and a smile. I asked if there was a problem and the response from the hostess was a laugh.I left my name and phone number with the associated golf Pro Shop clerk with the request that an owner or manager give me a call. almost 2 weeks later and nothing heard from the place.Obviously this place has problems and it's a shame that management doesn't seem to care. As far as I'm concerned a display of this type of service deserves a rating below Terrible.

These days I really don't expect too much at fast food restaurants, but the staff at this restaurant is especially nice and helpful. They never seemed rushed or frustrated by questions, and make very helpful suggestions. For instance, yesterday I would have forgotten Bronco sauce which is my favorite thing with jalapeno poppers. The girl asked if I would like any sauce and then suggested Bronco sauce. I was so grateful. I can't tell you how many times I get home and am disappointed to not have the right sauce. So thanks Arby's and keep up the good work.

We decided to try breakfast this morning, and it was great. We got there when they first opened and were the only customers. The coffee was great. The service was great with the waitress returning to refill coffee three times. Food was prompt and very good. Our table had the build your own omelet, the burrito, fried eggs, sausage, and potatoes and we took home an order of French Toast. Everything was good. I would order any breakfast I saw today, but the burrito was so good, I think I would probably order that again. In case you are wondering, however, they do not sell alcohol until noon.Thank You for your review and comments! We are glad that you enjoyed your experience with us. The service is friendly and efficient, but the two sandwiches and fries we ordered were just not good. We were not asked "how we like our burgers done" and the house signature hamburger was just too charred and dry to enjoy at all. The outside charred crust of the burger was noticeably loaded with salt. The fries were $2.00 extra and while they looked very brown, they were limp and tasteless. The signature beef sandwich was far too smokey, very dry and extremely salty. The Au Jus was necessary to make the sandwich edible. The house chips were bland and unremarkable. For $1.00 more, you can purchase a very small cup of rehydrated onion dip. Definitely pay the money and get the dip, you will need it to make the chips interesting. Perhaps the full dinners at the restaurant are better, but "pub" fare at this establishment is definitely lacking.Oh My :( We are so sorry your experience here was just that as you described. I would like to message you to get more information if that's ok or if you could please call me at 231-335-3330 as we pride ourselves in SO much more than that including quality food, service and just an overall EXCELLENT Dining experience. Please if you would give us a Call. Thank you. Kim & Phil

Two colleagues and I went to the BS for lunch. Although the service was friendly, it was exceedingly slow. It was a good half hour for our food to be delivered after ordering. Burgers and jasadilla were very good, as were the fries, but it took forever. They were very good about drink refills. They would have earned four stars if they were faster.

Sandwich portions are generally known as quite generous at The Lunch Pail. Not so with breakfast. Both veggie wrap and ham and cheese wrap breakfast sandwiches, although tasty, looked a little skimpy on the plate! This reviewer noticed those with their sandwiches on rye bread, had a slightly less skimpy sandwich. New owner has made some other improvements including much more comfortable chairs and tank and a dispenser soda machine. Very popular sandwich shop.

We were staying nearby for the Holland Tulip Time Festival. Came here for breakfast one morning. Excellent service with plenty of coffee refills. I had the veggie omelette with a side of hash browns ( upcharge) and marble rye toast--an excellent breakfast, the omelette was rich with vegetables and delicious. We enjoyed it so much we returned the second day. We had the same server, Wendy, who was terrific. Plenty of free parking in the lot. Credit cards accepted. Highly Recommended.

Two of us stopped in for half a sandwich and soup. The pot roast dip is fantastic. The award-winning (their term) chili was actually very good. The apple ham wrap was okay - a little too much wrap and not enough guts. Very clean and interesting store with access front and back. Staff is very helpful.

We love the bread sticks. A family order can feed 2 people. It has crunchy Parmesan cheese in it . The sauce is amazing also.
