Stopped for lunch. Looks and smells like a bar. Food was very average and the cocktails were very, very weak. Person serving us seemed bored and almost threw the food down so she could do whatever else she was doing.
We booked the dinner cruise for our entire family about six months in advance for my parents 60th anniversary. On the day of the cruise, I texted to verify location and parking information thinking we were leaving at 4:00 p.m. and was told we needed to be there at 1:00 p.m. We had 45 minutes to get 15 people (some on bike rides) together and at the pier. My niece and her children were 45 minutes away and could not get there on time. The boat ride itself is beautiful as is the island and the lighthouse. The appetizers on the cruise were a few slices of cheese and ritz crackers. After arriving on the island, you can walk or ride to the dinning area and lighthouse. The owner gave a fairly interesting 45 minute lecture. Food was delicious. The choice is perch or beef tips along with potatoes, fresh vegetables, and french bread. The portions were a good size but when we asked for more french bread, we were ignored, but told that the bread could be purchased at Meyers Store. We were also told the entree came from Costco. Beer and wine can be purchased and soft drinks and water are free. The light house, especially the spiral staircase is mesmerizing and the setting beautiful. The island is in the center of Lake Huron between Au Gres and Caseville. On the way back Costco Cheesecake (my assumption) was served. As I said, I really wanted to like this, but left a bit disappointed, I was hoping it would be special for my parents. Not sure I would try this again. Maybe if they allow us to tak ourstandard poodle :).
I traveled here for work in the off season. Since it is a small town there are not any chain restaurant early morning drive theyâd. I was looking for non-sit down restaurant for a breakfast sandwich. I stopped into chucks and what a delight - breakfast sandwiches made on the spot. I had the bacon, egg and cheese croissant two days in a row. The taste rivals Starbucks. Well I didnât have coffee there it sure smelled delicious! Drive-through is available as well

Just don't waste your time or money on poor food and rude service. The food is over priced. The owner is unwelcoming. He's lucky to have had some decent part-time staff working there. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There's a Subway on Caseville. Eat there.

Since there are few places to eat in Caseville, we end up coming back here and hoping for improvement. They still have the slowest waitstaff I've ever encountered. Do not be in a hurry. The best thing on the menu is the fried mushrooms. We paid $14 for a "mini" pitcher of Long Island Ice Tea and it was all ice. We barely got two small glasses out of it. What a rip off!!! I got the Slim Jim Hoagie and it was terrible, not as described. The bun was hard and dry, as was the whole thing. Couldn't eat it. Hubby got the fish and chips, and it must have been decent because he ate it all. The food items are way over priced. If this place was in a big city and had to compete, it would have closed down a long time ago.

Local restaurant serving breakfast lunch and dinner seven days a week. Good breakfast specials. Nice menu of comfort food featured for lunch and hearty dinner items. I like the breakfast specials and any specials offered with locally caught perch. Far from a fancy place but certainly not a dive.

Thumb Brewery is in downtown Caseville and minutes away from the beach. The brewery has quite a list of beers and wines, which means there's something for everyone. Located in an 1800s historic home, the little brewery features an open patio with a view o

The food is good and the prices are reasonable. Our lunch came to $20 with tip and water to drink. I had a Western omelet with potatoes and my husband had a chopped steak and potatoes. My omelet was well filled with lots of meat and vegetables. His chopped steak was a little dry.
