Things to do in Buchanan
An extremely clean, family owned and operated bar. The B & W Is family friendly and the perfect place for any occasion, most popular being to celebrate a win after a Friday night football game! The best burgers in the midwest, as well as wraps, fried apps
My daughter and her fiance asked if we would like to try B&W because they had new owners and it was way better than the previous owners. The last time I had been in was when Bill and Wally actually owned the place. Server was friendly and prompt and answered all of our questions, food was good and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back...
Went to lunch with my co-workers. We needed a quick lunch so Subway was the choice. There are not a lot of restaurants in Buchanan, Michigan. The service was good. The prices were good ($6 footlongs; $5 for 6" plus drink etc) and typical of Subway. The quality was average as expected.Fast food and filling is the best to describe this restaurant.
I want to love this place. I really do. The building and the space and the concept are incredible. It could be amazing. It just isn't. We went for dinner and everything from the server's lack of knowledge about the drinks and food to the loud air conditioning to the faux wood serving platters to the TERRIBLE beer and spirits(we tried FOUR different varieties) was just totally uninspired. Having just come from a trip to several small Wisconsin towns and experiencing great local restaurants in the same genre as Lehman's, it was even more disappointing. The pizza was like cardboard (flat bread it is not) and the french bread was certainly not baked in house. The handheld ordering device was distracting. The place has potential but it has not been realized.
Well this is not a review of the liquid offerings at Lehman's. We found Lehman's orchard Brewery & Farmhouse while passing thru Buchanan around lunch time. We saw they had a restaurant so we decided to try their brisket sandwiches. They were great. Their Tomato Bisque and Beer Cheese soups were delicious as well. A friendly waitress made for some great conversation about the local history. Very nice place.

The atmosphere is quite casual as you would expect and the menu has a good selection. Only issue we had was how long it took for food to arrive. We were late in the evening and with small children, so the gap between ordering and food arriving was an irritation to the young ones. Staff is friendly and food was good. Faster delivery of food would make it a five.

The meal we had was very good and the prices moderate. The service was excellent. But what surprised us the most was the extensive menu. From burgers to melts to Mexican to pasta to salads to complete dinners (not to mention a large breakfast menu), there has to be something to match your appetite at the moment. The atmosphere is casual and the parking right at the door.

Started with a lemon drop martini, had the crab cakes (very good) Three of us for dinner, I had the shrimp and cheese grits(I very much enjoyed!) The bar-b-que was good ( not Texas good but hey.. we ain't in Texas) The New Orleans blackened shrimp is also recommended. The blueberry crisp was a great finish. Excellent service too!

Beautiful day at the vineyard for lunch. What else can you ask for.... When visiting wine country this is the ticket for a great lunch and view. Had the Lavender Martini, crab roll and truffle fries. Yummy!!!!
