Known as "Cereal City," Battle Creek, Michigan is home to both the Kellogg and Post corporations. These two companies have left their mark on the city, building both office buildings and local attractions. The Leila Arboretum, part of Battle Creek's 7,000 acres of parkland, was created by the widow of CW Post, founder of Post Cereals. Post himself had been inspired to go into the cereal business after a visit to the now-historic Battle Creek Sanitarium, which was then run by John Kellogg.

We tried this new cafe today. Across from Meijer's Grocery Store on the corner of Helmer and Columbia. They are a new establishment offering an assortment of juices, smoothies and light sandwich & salad. They were very ready to explain the menu and change up ingredients to suit you. One man ordered a protein shake, the ladies came from yoga and ordered juice drinks while we were waiting for our order. We tried the tostada, the veggie wrap and taco selection. The ingredients were all fresh and we had tuna but you could have turkey or soy filling if you preferred. All really good. Tried the strawberry banana mango and the green drinks-both very good. Price for 3 drinks and three sandwiches was $22. It was bright and cheerful, very clean and we will be back again soon. If you want something fresh give them a try.

The restaurant was a little crowed and took a little longer to get the food, but it was worth it. Very delicious food. I had the prime rib tacos.

Nina`s has been a very good restaurant for years. Good food at great prices. TIP on the weekends try the Ninas store next door and get their grilled chicken it is excellent, but you need to get there early because it goes fast

The food was really tasty, the service was fast and the place was very clean. The waitresses have been pleasant but I would not recommend their sister restaurant on Columbia, the former Mexicali. The service was poor unless you were a single male and the food was not terribly good.

Overall La Cocina is a very nice restaurant and serves delicious food. All of our meals were absolutely delicious, served fast and our waiter was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back there - unfortunately it was quite expensive so thatâs a drawback

Ate here on a Monday afternoon around 11:30. Was seated promptly and the place was not full. The Salsa was great! Had difficulty sticking to just 1 bowl of Nachos. Ordered the Lunch Special Burrito which came with a Taco and some side salad and Sour cream. Tasted good and fresh. The place is nicely decorated and hope you like color, because there is lots of it !!! Service was good, friendly and prompt. Not much to complain about. Would go again if in the area.

Used them for catering this past week. Had unique allergies at the event and they completely accommodated. Great food, great price. Javier took care of us. Would recommend their catering to anyone.
