Find out what Chinese restaurants to try in Commerce Township. Commerce Township, officially the Charter Township of Commerce, is a charter township of Oakland County, and suburb of Detroit, located in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 40,186 at the 2010 census. The terrain is rolling hills with large expanses of flat farmland and suburban development. The Huron River runs mostly north-south through the township. Commerce was formerly a weekend and summer resort for Detroiters because of the area's small inland lakes and peaceful seclusion, but due to recent development the cottages are now all permanent homes. There has been a sharp increase in population in the last few years, mostly on or near the several lakes and golf courses. Much of Proud Lake State Recreation Area is within the township. The northern terminus of M-5 is in Commerce. The busy highway would have continued north to Interstate 75, but because of the area's high property value and the many lakes that dot the landscape such a project would have been far too costly.

Our order was ready in 15 minutes and we have found the food consistently good. We especially enjoy the spring rolls, deluxe fried rice, and "happy family reunion", a tasty combination of chicken, beef, shrimp, scallops, and vegetables.

This is a take-out place. A few chairs if you have to wait, so you could likely sit there for lunch. Better to just sit in your car.Lived north of the place for years and finally had a hankering for Chinese...very few choices in this area, so with mixed reviews in different places I chanced it.Ordered 3 combo meals and all were good. No complaints and really "this is good" from hungry family. Then the quantity: my prediction; 3 diners, one may finish, two will have left--overs. Hot and sour soup was tasty and filling. My simple suggestion, if you want good Chinese food call and order. It will be ready almost by the time you drive there.

Chef Jeff Hsu serves up the real McCoy in Shanghaiese cuisine, but cooks for one table at a time. Reservations required and dishes have to be pre-ordered. Food is excellent but the decor and services are lacking. His 1-D business model of quality assurance and personal attention to the diners may not be sustainable. If you don't have a reservation, he will send you home.

Ka Hing is certainly the best Chinese restaurant in this area. We have been here several times now, and have never been disappointed. The egg rolls are top notch, the Chinese vegetable soup is a bit better than average, and their Hot and Sour soup is excellent, with the right amount of spice. They certainly have the best Egg Foo Young, my wife's favorite. Each pattie is about the size of a baseball, and the gravy is delicious. My favorite dish is the Szechuan Vegetables with fried tofu. They know how to make the perfect fried tofu, whereas other places fall short on the flavor and texture. This restaurant is clean, and the Chinese waitress speaks very good English and is very attentive.

This is the best Chinese restaurant. The takeout is always busy, you have to stand in line. Everything we've had was excellent.

Hidden gem in Novi - a simple menu of sizzling platters of rice or noodles with your choice of meat and sauce, served in generous portions at a very reasonable price. The menu also has ramen noodle soups, bubble tea and amazing homemade shaved ice cream. Friendly, prompt service. Highly recommended for a quick lunch or dinner.

Our favorite Chinese take out restaurant and we drive over 30 minutes because the food and service were so good. I donât know whatâs going on or if there is a change in management but the girl at the counter was rude (same as on the phone), food was mediocre and overall a disappointment. Portion size has also been reduced. Beef and snow peas were always delicious. This time the meat was very pale in color with an odd taste. We always tip, not this time.
