We took some time off of here because the food was tasteless. We have it another try after a yr and it was the best we've had after going here for the last 12 yrs. It's so good now, we actually went twice in one week. Whatever you guys did, keep it up, cause it's working!

Whenever our grand kids come over for an extended stay they always request to go here for food. The soups, tempura veggies, spring rolls and the chicken dishes are some of their favorites. They especially like the Japanese sodas for drinks to go with their meals. The wait staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. When the grand kids aren't with us my bride and I like to order takeout that is fast, always delicious, and hot. This is one of the best Asian restaurants in Northern Michigan.

Nice to find somewhere for a break from typical American fare and this restaurant is deservedly popular. In high season (like now) expect a wait of around 30 mins for a table.Extensive menu and dishes are fresh and in the main aurhentic. They are also sizeable. Especially liked the fact that each dish is cooked to the level of 'hotness' you want. Be warned though that you need to err on the side of caution. At home in the UK we always order medium. Here medium is really pretty hot and we wished that we'd ordered at least one of the dishes as a mild.We didn't give a 5 star rating for a couple of reasons: no Thai crackers, complimentary or orherwise: side order of veg just plain like you'd get anywhere: the crab wanton were beautifully cooked and not at all greasy but tasted solely of cream cheese.Prices are reasonable - typically $12 for a main course including rice, and service is very friendly, helpful and prompt.
