Rude and unaccomidating staff.Out of wheat bread and would only substitute Italian for kids meal. Would not alter kids choices for kids meal. Would not let you purchase toy unless you bought kids meal even though was buying foot long meal.Went 8 miles down expressway to another Subway and gave us kids toy and no problem with choices for kid meal.

We stopped here passing trough town. I tried the small Turtle Sundae and it was excellent. They layer the sundae so you get everything throughout. The serving sizes are decent and the prices too.

Fabiano's River House

It is almost halfway between Grand Rapids and Lansing. and had dinner with two other couples from the Lansing area. The food has been very good here and last night it did not disappoint. These folks have owned this operation about 3 years and calls it a work in progress. Progress means things are changing. Maybe the work is in the back of the house but not so much in the public areas. The dining room is still tired and worn. It looks dark and boring. Being here on a Saturday night the dining room was hardly used and the patio area which has the best view for miles around was half empty during peak dining hours. I know business can be slow in summer months but to me there is no reason to be this slow, especially with good food.

We stopped in for the 1st time and very small but great food and reasonable prices. The waitress Alexis was awesome. Very friendly and helpful on picking the right choices. The burger was very good and fries were awesome. Nacho Supreme was huge and my son couldn't finish it. We will be back.

A friend and I stopped there early on a Saturday around Noon. They were not busy at all. After we were seated it took almost 10 minutes to have a server come over and get our drink order. We then ordered an appetizer of breadsticks that took well over 20 minutes to come. No sooner than she set down the breadsticks our taco salad came so we had no time to eat breadsticks. As I stated food was good but server seemed like she didnt care to work or not. As this was our first visit not sure if I will ever give them another shot. Not a great first impression.

Ate here late at night (9 p.m.) on a Tuesday night. Both the food and the service were very good.I had the olive burger (lots of green olives and mayo, served on a very tasty bun). My boyfriend had the perch basket. Both of these were really good. The restaurant is attached to a bowling alley but this is definitely not your standard bowling alley food. Would come back again when I'm passing through Portland.
