Stopped by for a drink. It was our first time there and we were niceY surprised. Clean, updated environment, friendly bartender. Drink selection good, service friendly, excellent. We didnât have time to eat, but menu looked good, we will definitely visit again!
We've been coming up to the Baldwin area at least twice a year for decades. We try to hit the best of both trout and salmon season. Every evening we are in town, we hit another restaurant for dinner. It has been the same 4-5 restaurants ever year on a regular rotation. After rapidly declining service at one of the establishments, they finally got knock out of the rotation and we needed a new restaurant to fill the void. We got amazingly lucky when we threw a dart and had it hit Club 37. We had no recommendations to go on. No reviews that we could find. We just went in blind. Friday dinner service was busy but the staff was hustling and we were well taken care of. Our dinners ranged from burgers to a chicken cordon bleu sandwich. Everything was excellent. Their parking lot looks like it has been set up as a gathering place for a variety of off-road vehicle get togethers. Based on our experience, this is now going to be one of our regular dinner stops.
We ate here two consecutive nights while we were in the area. The first night we did a 'build your own burger' with grilled jalapeños, mushrooms, and onions. It was great as were their homemade chips and fries. The 2nd night, my husband tried the plain burger & liked it very much. I tried the steak, bacon, and cheese sandwich; I was not disappointed. Atmosphere is pretty much typical small-town bar, restaurant and restrooms are clean. There are a few picnic tables outside.

We went for Friday night all you can eat fish around 7pm. There were six of us and although it was a holiday weekend, they were not terribly busy. We sat at a table and noticed everything in the place was pretty dirty. I saw a sign for mac and cheese bites for $2.50 on our way in. I asked the server if they had those on special still and she thought they "probably did?" I also ordered a queso dip with chips that was to come topped with lettuce and tomato. After a while the apps came out. The dip was not even luke warm and did not have any toppings. I just asked that it be warmed up. After about 15 minutes our fish came out, still no dip returned. About halfway through eating our dinners, the dip came back (with lettuce and tomato this time) and still was not hot. I just gave up on it at that point. We then asked for re-orders on our fish and the server told us that she did not think they had anymore (really? on all you can eat fish?) She went to double check and came back and said no, there was no more fish and would not substiute anything else. This was around 7:45 at night and plenty of people were still coming in to eat. She informed us that she could get something taken off our check since they had no more. Our checks came, no discount was taken off for the fish. Also I was charged $3 too much for the mac and cheese bites that were on special (even though I asked before I ordered them). Our server never came back so we had to go to the bar to try to get the bill issue resolved. The bartender just wanted to argue and said she would take of 10% for the problem and wanted to know where we saw the "on special" price for the mac and cheese bites. We pointed to the sign right in front of her. What a circus...They lost 2 prospective new customers and lost 4 returning customers all in one night, pretty sad.

Got the special -- ribs, baked beans, potato salad for 10 bucks. On the plus side, the portions were huge, and the food edible. But it was very average. The ribs had been boiled and then the tomato barbecue sauce slathered on, when it would have been nice to have them grilled or oven baked so the flavor cooks in. baked beans also pretty watery, everything needed salt and flavoring. Service is a bit capricious here, can be very slow at times.

This place is a little out of the way, but well worth the trip. I first had them when they catered a friend's rehearsal dinner and just ate at their cafe for the first time this weekend. It is more of a food stand than cafe, but they have outdoor seating on the river. I would eat their gyro's sitting in my car if I had to--we will definitely be making a return trip this summer. We also had their onion rings and curly fries, both were good but nothing special-- the main draw is the delicious gyros!

Stopped in after a country ride in the snow. Walked in, seated promptly, drink order was taken and returned quickly. Waitress was pleasant and attentive. I ordered the Polish Plate and it was very good. If youâre looking to really fill up you might wanna order an extra side. The misses had the Monte Christo with house chips. The habanero jam was mild, donât let that scare you. Both were really good and we were so satisfied that we will be going back, hopefully very soon. Thanks Barskiâs, you made this Pollack very happy.
