The pizza here is awesome. the people who make it are the best. The Mother owned it previously and they operated it in a Christian atmosphere. The building is old but the people and the food make it worth the trip Monday thru Thursday pizzas are half off. They have a burrito special also during the week.
Momma's Boy is a pizza carryout establishment. We specialize in pizza, baked subs, pasta, salad, wings and gluten free items. Hand tossed dough is made from scratch on-site.
As part of their first Community Matters Mondays, we tried this take-out restaurant on 14 Mile Road for the first time, and we were very happy with our meals. My husband had the Baked Italian Sub, and I had the Pasta Carbonara with Chicken. His was a well-chosen blend of meats and cheeses. Mine was creamy and flavorful, still plenty hot when my husband arrived at my location, around 11 miles away. We also had Parmesan Bread Sticks, and I had a Clara's Cookie. We will be having the second half of all of this later in the week for lunches. There was no way we could finish in one sitting, and we really look forward to the second round.
Started with a Pesca Bella, peachy, sweet drink. That was my first Yum.Next came the Bruschetta. Now, I'm not typically a bruschetta fan and I'm also not a balsamic vinegar fan, so this makes NO SENSE, but......this stuff is AMAZING! We will probably get it every time we go. Yum #2I ordered the Partinico sandwich, I've had it before, so good and HUGE. I struggle to eat half of it and take the second half home. So tasty! Yum #3The hubby ordered a pizza, the Sicillana, of which I had to take a bite, of course. :) Another fantastic option! I had ordered my sandwich because I didn't think I'd like the pizza, lol. Dang, looks like I didn't title my review correctly because that is Yum #4!Our server, Alex A. was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The manager stopped by the table and we saw him on the floor a lot. We were sitting where we could watch the kitchen. The chefs seemed to make a great team and hustled. We have been here a few times and will definitely be back!
Love Fatzos! Super friendly, fast, delicious food! They were in the top 3 of best tasting pizza in West Michigan. Prices are fair. Subs are stuffed & pizza loaded. Best pizza sauce I've ever had! :)

Love the wild mushroom pizza and the bread sticks. Service is always great. They are pricing but a nice treat.

It's hard to argue with success for one the most successful sports bar organizations in the area, but we should have known. Too loud (unless you like it that way), menu hard to read. Olive Burgers were dry and overcooked--who puts cheese over the olives with no mayonnaise anyway?? Tastiest part of the meal was U-fries (Uccello Fries- upcharge $1.99) which are soggy fries, but flavored by parmesan cheese, garlic butter, and garlic salt. It's in the 110 year old Hotel Maine building on main street, remodeled in contemporary décor and tile--which of course makes it echo more! If you like sports bars by all means go, but if you don't--don't.
