The sandwiches are very good, the shakes and ice cream are amazing and they have THE BEST cookies around. Always friendly, live music at some on weekends. A little pricey but not bad.
The young lady who assisted me was personable, positive and knew how to make a Spinach Wrap. She also was very helpful. The place was clean and orderly; I always appreciate when people wear gloves.

I wanted to go to Gonella's for a sub from somewhere other than a sub chain. They promote a discretionary offer of number of slices of meat and cheese on their subs with adjustable prices. Unfortunately, you will discover this only applies to the "Italian" sub. Other subs are priced individually. I order an "Italian" sub. It was to include ham, various Italian salamis, lettuce, tomato and onion. My wife ordered a tuna sub with lettuce and tomato. We took them home and we each ate half Later, I was so tired I fell asleep. Later, I opened the remaining half to remove some of the meat. It was so greasy I threw it out. The tuna had scant tuna. The piece of lettuce on both sandwiches was the size of a Post It. The 2 slices of tomato on both were transparent. I had a stomach ache all night. The bread was excellent. Other wise, "no way".
I give this place a lot of credit. It markets itself as being somewhat inexpensive, but it's actually way more expensive than any other fast food. Their burgers are 0.88 oz each vs. a McDonald's burger at 1.6 oz, but they both cost around 70 cents each. Don't get me wrong, White Castle offers a premium product but lunch always ends up cost about $10 between a sack of 10 and a pop. Hard to put a price on quality, but it doesn't come cheap here.
You can always get what you want, including deep fried and grilled items. The food is fresh, prepared quickly and with personality.

Iâm not a fan of thin crust pizza, but is does shorten cook time. Good variety of ingredients (ordering for the first time is daunting, but the staff are very helpful and patient) and seemed fair quality, although not real spicy (perhaps by marketing design). Caesar salad was good. Nice choice of beverages.
