Reviews on Cafe food in Battle Creek, Michigan, United States. Known as "Cereal City," Battle Creek, Michigan is home to both the Kellogg and Post corporations. These two companies have left their mark on the city, building both office buildings and local attractions. The Leila Arboretum, part of Battle Creek's 7,000 acres of parkland, was created by the widow of CW Post, founder of Post Cereals. Post himself had been inspired to go into the cereal business after a visit to the now-historic Battle Creek Sanitarium, which was then run by John Kellogg.

Lovely family restaurant in a Truck Stop, who would have thought? But that's what TA Truck Stop is. The restaurant is cozy, beautifully decorated, immaculate, and modern. Wait Staff very attentive and pleasant. And the food was fabulous! My husband's steak was huge and perfectly seasoned. I had the white fish and it was one of the best I had ever eaten. Recommend it highly.
We were visiting family in Battlecreek a few weeks back over the labor day week/weekend and we were fortunate to find this little diner, our family didn't know about it. We were there twice but I wanted to go everyday but they were closed for all of labor day weekend which I don't blame them. So yummy wish it was in Nashua, NH where we drove from, keep up the great food! The waitress was great too!!!

Food is always tasty and do not disappoint. We especially like the variety of iced teas that are offered. The bagels have a light airy taste to them. The sandwiches are good and my daughter says they have the best mac and cheese. I would warn people to try to,a pose the lunch hour during the week. Practically impossible to find a place to park.

Very convenient location- downtown Battle Creek. It's a nice casual cafe with good food at good prices. The daily specials are always yummy. The staff is helpful in accomadating special dietary needs, gluten free and vegetarian items available. There are yummy baked goods available - scones, brownies and cookies. I love lunching here.

We gambled until we were really hungry which was our mistake-the casino was super busy. We went to 24/7 and they were low on servers. But Bayli who was the hostess really stepped up. She brought us our drinks...then took our order. they had people queued up in chairs and standing around even though only about maybe half the tables were seated. Clearly having server issues but Bayli also brought us our food. She was amazing! Other than that the food was ok (we stopped at other restaurants first but the menus had no vegetarian food-hello? we gamble too!!) and the wait for a table was long. Without Bayli this would pretty much be a zero. The food and drinks were just ok.

I was a bit concerned when we had trouble finding a place to park at 10:30 on a Tuesday morning. But, our family of 6 was seated right away, coffee cups were filled, and our orders were taken promptly. Our breakfasts were also served promptly, and the portions were not only generous, but tasted great! Coffee cups never got empty, staff was friendly, and prices were reasonable. My first time here, but now plan to make a regular stop here!
