Go here. Lovingly refurbished 1900âs train depot is the best place to eat in Alanson MI; Outdoor deck with view of the equally historic Hardware Store, walk to the Inland Water Route Museum, shops, boatdock, friends passing by; Friendly courteous family oriented staff and caring owners; modern fare for all meals menu with local specialties excellent food well prepared (prime rib special was almost surpassed by the prime rib sandwich for lunch the next day!); very clean tidy facility in all areas. Go here.

Food is usually very good. Tonight they were short staffed so our hour wIt has turned into an 1:20 minutes and still waiting. Ouch!!

Well, it's not really on Mullett Lake, it's across the street. But, they do have a dock for boaters to park at, so they are on the lake. Whatever, they have a nice view of the lake from the patio & elevated deck. The service (Jack) was excellent, the food was good, as was the beer selection. We had a great evening after four hours of paddling the Sturgeon. We'll definitely be back when in the area.Hello! Thanks for stopping in! Jack will be happy to hear how pleased you were. We stopped here this summer on the boat for dinner. We waited for our food for over an hour while we watched everyone around us get served. We ordered nachos and burgers. Our waitress was really sweet she kept on checking on us and apologizing. I saw one of the cooks walking out and another girl following him trying to calm him down. When we did get our food it was just ok.

Although this is a popular bar, it has become a favorite spot for summer visitors to dine. The pizza is excellent and fairly priced. Burgers are large, cooked to order and served on a nice bun.

Since it was our first time visiting Indian River we had no idea where to go to enjoy a relaxing meal after a crazy experience on the Sturgeon river. The atmosphere of the grill was excellent. We chose to sit outside on the balcony looking over the 18th hole of the golf course. It was a nice evening so it was perfect . The service was excellent and the food was great. We enjoyed our dining experience and would definitely go back if we visited Indian River again.
