TOMATO KIBBEH, pleeaseee!!!! Simply delicious!!!!Love this place. Itâs fast, not expensive, and they serve such a good tasty mouth-watering food!Honestly the service is usually good, but there were times it was awful. The food makes up for that, though.Their carry-out is amazing, too. Love this restaurant!

Note to Trip Advisor -- This restaurant in its third incarnation -- First La Shish, then La Sharm, now La Shisho Palace. We had not eaten here in one of the restauants early incarnations, so can't compare to previous experiences. This one was decidedly a mixed bag. First to the table came a basket of fresh warm pita bread (SO GOOD!!!!) -- with a garlic butter (more like lard) that was also good, but full-stop garlic. Don't go into an important meeting after you've had that! For entrees, I had the Sauteed Chicken with Mushrooms ($14.99) which included pieces of cut-up chicken (nicely flavored), mushrooms, slices of carrots, tomatoes, onions, green and yellow peppers --all very good. A house salad that came with this was also good. Together, This was a very large serving -- plenty to take home for lunch. My wife loves Shawarma, so she ordered the Shwarma Plate ($14.99), which was a disaster. The salad, of course, was good, but the lamb strips on the Shawarma Plate were probably the worst lamb she'd ever had. I tasted one strip and agree completely. Texture-wise, it was as if the lamb strips had been pre-chewed. Taste-wise, it was so over-loaded with spice (All-Spice, my wife says) that the taste of lamb was nowhere to be found -- only the spice. She had only two bites of the lamb, then just focused on the rice pilaf, which was a bit overdone. She ended up stuffing some of her salad into the great pita bread and having a veggie sandwich for dinner. We are adventurous eaters and not afraid of something different, but this was just not good. Normally we would have sent this back to the kitchen, but not being sure if this was the way the lamb was meant to be prepared, we didn't want to offend the chef. Instead, we boxed up the left-overs for home, then just threw the Shawarma box into a trash can near the restaurant. Didn't even want the odor of the stuff in our house! Hopefully, La Shisho management will see this review and consider how the Shawarma Plate is being prepared.Bottom line -- Some good, some bad here. We won't be back..

Went here on a whim one day for lunch after we saw an article on the restaurant in a local paper. Gentleman behind the counter was very friendly. We don't normally eat Mediterranean food, so we tried the chicken shawarma and beef shawarma and both were delicious and a large portion. Restaurant was very clean, felt really comfortable about eating there. Not a whole lot of tables but it was worth the trip so I could live with a takeout if there was no table space. We will return.

Stopped in after work for dinner with my husband. The restaurant was extremely clean with nice white tablecloths. We had tabbouleh, hummus, and baba ghanous. They were all excellent fresh and tasty. For the main course my husband had Ghallaba and I had lamb chops. My chops were well seasoned, very fresh, and perfectly prepared medium with a great flavor! The rice was great too. My hubby said his food was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant for either lunch or dinner. Oh by the way the service was perfect. We will be back!
