Part of the Flint/Tri-Cities area in Michigan, Saginaw is a small city with unique attractions, including a French-style castle, originally built as a post office and now home to the the local historical society. The city also has its own island park sitting in the middle of Saginaw River, a popular destination for picnics and fireworks. Visited with friends last week expecting a great "Tony's steak sandwich". Not up to par. Meat was dry like it had set on the corner of grill until one was ordered, Sauce was sparse and grilled bread was burned. Our friends also said their sandwiches were pretty bad.I will say that generally Tony's in our area are great, but sorry to say, low marks for this location. Also, floor was dirty with food scraps and paper around the tables.

This is still my favorite Tony's on the Great Lakes Bay region. The servers are friendly and the portions are reasonable. We love breakfast for other meals and our omelettes and sour dough toast were delicious! They had just the right amount of filling. Highly recommend.
Terrific little place for salads and sandwiches with fresh top notch ingredients and a very cute and sweet woman making the food. 2 in our party and we each had the sesame chicken salad. Delicious! We also had green iced tea -also delicious. Added bonus is that it is housed in a health food store.
I love Jimmy Johns but this one was disappointing. sub buns were so hard you couldn't bite the ends.I have never had that happen.. poor management so disappointed
