As a vegetarian, options can be limited when eating out; but at Egg Roll House, they have at least one great tofu option. I ask them to prepare it with a water base instead of chicken broth, and they are happy to do so. It is my favorite restaurant meal in the area.

This is a place I go to about twice a month, for take out. Best sushi I have ever had, anywhere! The Christmas roll is amazing, grilled fish on top. The portions are large, plenty for 2 people. I also get the chicken lo mein every time, garlicky goodness. Small dine-in area, bottled drinks sold as well. If you are a sushi lover, come check this place out,you can watch it being made fresh, and won't be disappointed.

Joe Chan's Bistro

Four of us went to Chan's for Chinese. Service was friendly but slow. Appetizers were rubbery and lacking flavor. The crispy chicken was very salty and more crispy than chicken. My wife liked the sweet and sour shrimp. The bar is open to the dining area and doesn't lend itself to quiet conversation. Overall, not impressive.

Asian Buffet and Grill

We travel extensively and sample many Chinese buffets (check our reviews) This one gets top marks from us for variety and freshness. Overall impression: lunch selections include a lot of chicken dishes. Most are deep fried. Lighter on seafood, pork and beef options. Best item sampled: Hong Hong beef (with large chunks of steak in it). Honorable mentions:Crab rangoons (actually had a hint of crab taste); pepper chicken; honey chicken. Small selection of sushi. Skip: the hot and sour soup.Other info: Option to create your own stir fry (Mongolian BBQ) with a very wide variety of sauces. Several varieties of soft serve ice cream (in a corner - hard to find). more additional desserts (other than ice cream) than many buffets. Senior discount. Ample free parking. Sturdy chairs and tables (suitable for large size patrons). Clean bathrooms. Good lighting.

Friendly staff and very affordable prices. We ordered Beef with Broccoli and General Chicken along with Egg Drop Soup, Egg Rolls, and Crab Rangoon. The family all liked the Beef with Broccoli, although it tasted like an American dish as it lacked some of that Chinese flavor, and covered in what seemed like a gravy. It was bland enough that the kids liked it. The General Chicken was more like a Sweet and Sour Chicken dish. My husband was disappointed as he was hoping it was more like a General Tso's dish. The egg rolls were different. I can't put a finger on it, but I didn't care for what ingredients were used and the taste that resulted. The crab rangoons were excellent. The entire family enjoyed them. The egg drop soup was decent. I normally love a few peas, or mushrooms or some sort of veggie in my egg drop soup, but this was OK. We all like the fried rice as well as the steamed rice. *Note: I love sweet and sour sauce with my egg roll and crab rangoon and it does not come with it. They will include this for $1 extra. All this food was under $20! Not bad for a middle-of-the-road Chinese meal.
