Rochesterâs best-kept secret for the Happy Hour Crew. Many delicious options from the crowd-pleasing calamari to the spicy grilled Kruser (grouper) fish taco. The specialty drink selection was also great...but the best of them all was, by far, Pamela. The beautiful and very nice bartender was always there when we needed her.

My daughter absolutely loves this place. So we came here after my grandson's baseball game to celebrate their win with the family. I had the porterhouse with broccoli and salad. It was very good. My grandson had the Maryland chicken. He didn't like it. My daughter and her daughter had the tenderloin. She loved it. Of course we all had to share dinner with another person because we cannot eat all that food. I love the white bread. The steaks were juicy. The waitress was very pleasing. She accommodated all of our requests.

We have enjoyed dining at the Golden Eagle, and often choose it for special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries. The menu is varied and good, but we usually order the specials of the day. The specials usually are different, bordering on the unusual, and we've never been disappointed. I would recommend this restaurant for families, couples, and those who just want excellent food at decent prices in a nice atmosphere (no TV in the dining rooms).

Plenty of parking on street or in metered parking lot right across the street. Nice environment, cute Christmas decorations. Staff very friendly. Accepts Open Table reservations. Generous size portions. I had the Perch and my husband had 14 oz steak, both were very good. Pretty pricey. Somewhat limited menu. Sat in front window and could see all the downtown Christmas lights. If I lived closer to Rochester, I would definitely eat there again.
