We decided to eat at Uccello's in Caledonia with family and unfortunately had an unpleasant experience due to the amount of time it took to get our food. Aside from the very busy and noisy atmosphere, the food took an unusual amount of time to be served at our table. Three of the entrees were completely overcooked and the server did not refresh our beverages the entire time. The GOOD news is that the restaurant manager was aware and proactively visited our tables with apologies for the wait. The food arrived shortly after but with much dissatisfaction. We never had to verbalize a complaint, as he swiftly saw we were not finishing our entrees. He apologized with concern, adjusted the bill removing a few entrees and gave us a discount as well. Overall it was our understanding that this was a rare occurrence (two of us were visiting for the first time), the restaurant was short-staffed, and management was quick to correct - a pleasant surprise and appreciated gesture (and good business I might add). Hopefully the next visit will be better and thankfully the manager helped correct what could have left a very bad taste in the mouths of five dinner guests.

We had a wonderful night out experience here at Fricano's of Caledonia. I ordered the Sausage and Peppers while my Wife ordered the Steak Marsala. Both entrees were served piping hot and prepared with excellence and the steak was cooked to order. Salad was fresh and green; no white chunks or purple stuff. Bar staff created some special Christmas Drinks and I selected the "Grinch"...good, light, fruity, fun. Waitress was super busy in the dining area, yet still kept up with everyone and their needs. Seating was comfortable. a bit tight, but expected for a popular small-town eatery.This is a secret gem of "downtown Caledonia"

This is a simple restaurant but the food is excellent. It was good for a business meeting because it wasn't noisy or too busy. I had chicken Alfredo and the sauce was excellent. The prices were reasonable too. Quick and efficient service as well.

Not the healthiest food...lots of white flour, white pasta and white dough..and not the best either...it's good, not great, but just good. Just common, ordinary run-of-the-mill GP (general public) food. Common senseless morons who need a crash course in public safety work there too. Plate my dinner (eggplant with spaghetti) came on was straight from the oven...hot enough to make my eyebrows sweat and brand cattle. 3 stars for the eggplant, otherwise a 1.
