This is kind of a hole-in-the-wall place, but it has a charming patio, efficient and friendly service, and huge, well designed tasty sandwiches. We split a corned beef w/provolone and cold slaw on an excellent bun, and ordered an interesting pasta salad that had some fruit in it. Prices were very reasonable and the food came quickly. If I lived nearby, I’d be a regular, and the place was busy for an early Tuesday lunch, so others must feel the same way.

A dining experience at The Whitney is so much more than simply a meal. Visit The Ghostbar for a cocktail and appetizer before dining in one of the Mansion's opulent dining rooms. Weather permitting, you may prefer to dine Fountain-side in the beautiful Wh

This is a fine dining establishment so bring your credit card. I have not been here for many years and was pleasantly surprised. It has a traditional menu, but the quality is excellent. Ask for an upstairs dining room... I prefer the atmospere and access to the Ghost Bar. We all had the Beef Wellington and it was good though it might have been warmer. The ladies loved the specialty cocktails...not so expensive if you make the happy hour. Lovely turn of the century decor. We love to see that we continue to impress you even years down the road. Welcoming you back was an absolute pleasure, and we're delighted to see you finally order from our menu again. Everyone has their dining room preferences, and we have to agree that the Ghostbar is a great environment to enjoy happy hour and our signature dishes in. Bringing the things you love most about us back to the table was certainly a lovely experience. Hope to welcome you back again. It's always great to have you.Best,Dave Duey, Manager

After a long day, which included an afternoon at the ballpark, we returned to our hotel, the Trumbull and Porter, a bit tired and hungry. After reading some promising reviews of the hotel’s restaurant, we headed down for dinner. We were greeted and seated by a very friendly young woman named Jane who became our server. From the first conversation about the menu selections, to the great food and the wonderful service, and the fun and pleasant interactions, this was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was amazing - perfectly done, crispy and flavorful. We really enjoyed our dinners - the veggie flatbread (yum) and the fried chicken. Jane’s knowledge and personality really enhanced the whole experience. Thanks, Jane, for helping make this a wonderful evening. Hello lynnerhodes21,We are happy to hear we were able to top off what seems like an already great day with our five star service. We are pleased to have provided you with not only a great meal but also wonderful service. Jane is beaming with joy after reading these compliments. We hope you will stay with us again the next time you visit Detroit.

True neighborhood pub with excellent hand prepared and affordable food, terrific beer selection and friendly staff. Multiple Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free options always on the menu. Nothing deep fried or microwaved ever!

My children groaned “Not another Hipster place!” when we pulled up to the Woodbridge Pub. Never having been in Detroit, I wanted a place near the Motown Museum. The first thing I was pleasantly surprised by was the free street parking. The server could not have been nicer. We ordered from the Sunday brunch menu (the only menu at that time on Sunday, apparently), and it was very good. Getting the food took a bit, and a table that came in after we did got their food much sooner, but the quality of the food and the comfortable ambiance made up for the wait. And the kids loved the food as well!
