Casual lakeside dining on beautiful Lake Huron. Stop in for our fresh broiled Whitefish, juicy slow roasted Prime Rib, charbroiled steaks and homemade Clam Chowder and soups.
Tried dinner here and ended up returning for breakfast. Typical aged humble facility. Servers were proficient and kind. Menu expansive. Accommodated a couple special requests. Food portions were plentiful. Prices reasonable. Would recommend. View of bay from one room and also a bar area.

We are a full serve Mexican restaurant. Our head chef Roberto Gallo has received awards for his Great Lakes Whitefish Tacos and many rave reviews about his sauces all made from scratch.
The place was recommended by our hotel (we arrived tired from Marquette; needing to be out the door by 5:00 a.m. the next morning). We got there and there was a wait---the place was packed. We were seated within 10 minutes, though. However, they clearly needed to have more staff on duty---an incredibly busy Labor Day Weekend crowd. More servers; more people cleaning up the tables (ours was dirty and sticky when we were seated). The food was actually decent, including dishes prepared with the local favorite, whitefish. Our server was pleasant, but quiet harried. Prices were moderate. Family friendly, for sure (a table of screaming kids right next to us---not on the restaurant, on the parents!). We did have a nice view of Lake Huron out the window, a plus on a beautiful late summer evening. Plenty of free parking. Located on the large commercial strip in St. Ignace. As we left at 8:45 p.m., people were still streaming in, and there was an even larger wait. So it is definitely a very popular place. We got what we needed, but would not return.
Two miles North of Mackinac Bridge
Had plenty of food choices. Was nice to be warm and dry on an unusually cold and rainy day in July and look out on the water. Service was quick considering large amount of diners due to inclement weather.
