Did not eat there....stopped in the morning right after they opened while visiting downtown Frankfort. Brought some of the pate, then traveled up the coast to Leland and bought some there. The Port City Smokehouse pate was way the better of the two...so if you are traveling up M-22 and are looking for some smoked whitefish spread, I would suggest stopping in Frankfort.

We lucked onto this place after floating down the Platte river nearby. It was a beautiful day, and we sat outside. I would not have been comfortable inside the way we were dressed- this is a very nice place. Service was prompt and friendly, food was delicious. Note that we arrived shortly after the opening hour of 4:30 and the place was already filling up. Reservations definitely recommended.

We recently went to the inn for their above mentioned buffet. This was our first visit and we had a very good dining experience. All the staff we came into contact with were top notch. The buffet was great(best corned beef I have ever ate) there was a good selection to pick from. Irish soda bread, potato leek soup, sheperds pie, root vegetables, and many more, plus cupcakes and cheese cakes. Also, there was a number of irish alcoholic selections available. We plan on coming back in the summer for a stay.Thank you so much for your kind words! It really was a delicious meal, wasn't it?! The soda bread was one of my favorites. I told the Chef I could live just eating it! :) We look forward to seeing you again next year for St. Patrick's Day. In addition to our restaurant being open Fridays and Saturdays through March and April, our Easter Brunch is next and the kick-off to our full restaurant begins with our Mother's Day Brunch. We look forward to seeing you there, as well.
