I've been going to Bill's since I moved to the area from Detroit. Nobody does a better hog dog with chili and onions. The prices are reasonable and the service is exceptional. You literally pull into the parking lot and other your meal....doesn't get to much better than that!
There seems to be a trend these days in the emergence of vegetarian fast food places. I kind of like it, and for my money there are far too few such places. Ypsilanti, MI, however, has Vegorama (there is a relatively new second location in Canton now, too). I have been only once, but I will be back. The menu has roughly two main choices and some sides. The two are burgers (six choices thereof) and other, which can come as salad, bowl, wrap, or sub. In both categories, you select the main component of the burger or other (choices range from BBQ jackfruit to butter paneer to potato cutlet--burger only--to some meat substitutes). Burgers and others both have their respective (optional) toppings, as well as a choice of sauces for the others. I chose the butter paneer on a sub (clearly this dish would be best as a bowl over rice but I did not want a rice dish, and I wanted to leave room for the masala fries from the list of sides). Yes, it was sloppy as a result, not helped by them putting my selected toppings (black beans, jalapenos, banana peppers, cole slaw, and tomato slices) and sauce (mango habanero) inside the sub, even though I asked for them on the side, but it was amazing and fairly huge. Still managed to eat the fries. These were good, but the masala was WAY too salty--someone is going to have a coronary right there from the sodium unless they tone down the salt. They also lack acceptable condiments for fries: ketchup was given--hate the stuff--but I managed to score some sort of Szechuan sauce instead. Sadly, they had no Sriracha mayo or chipotle mayo, proper accompaniments for fries. I will probably skip the fries next time as a result. I cannot speak to the other choices--a friend with me seemed to enjoy the fajita "chicken" bowl--made with seitan, I guess. They also have some lassis (place clearly owned or run by desis) and other specialty drinks, but I stuck with water. Parking can be tough mid-day during the week in this area right next to EMU, but I found street parking right around the corner (and no meters either).

When to Got Burger from a referral from a student at EMU. The burgers are full of flavor and very tasty. The season French fries was a great accommodating side dish that you will also enjoy with your burger. I highly recommend this restaurant as one of the top eateries in the area.
