My wife and I stopped for a quick dinner on the way to the theater Friday evening. I ordered a chicken cutlet and she the whitefish. Mine was way overcooked and the edges were not chewable, way over-breaded and highly salted, covered with white glop and ... luke warm! I asked that it be warmed up hoping it would be better. It wasn't. Really bad, close to inedible. My wife's whitefish was fishy tasting though it was hot. The brussels sprouts were overcooked and mushy. On the plus side (why they got 2 stars)the chicken n noodle soup was very tasty but also luke warm. Even though it was 2/3 empty, service was still slow. And it top it off, it is pricey. I won't return.

This small deli in unassuming surroundings serves up truly inspired corned beef sandwiches. Sliced to order rye bread, deeply flavorful lean corned beef, fresh slow, and homemade Russian dressing with a little kick. Side salads are also homemade and delicious. Friendly service in an informal background. It does not get much better than this.

We've been there twice and both times we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. My wife had lox which she pronounced the best she ever had. The mushroom barley soup that came with it had a weird yellow color but it was, nonetheless, delicious. I had a Reuben sandwich which was super thick with lean corned beef. Probably the best I ever had and it was only $10.99. Try getting a sandwich like that for $10.99 at Zingerman's in AA! The place is very upscale for a deli and very clean and modern and the service was very prompt and efficient.
