I came here with a friend before a concert and we both got flights and shared the Michigan salad and crab Rangoon pizza. It was all good! We loved the pizza!! They have a nice variety of beer, something for everyone. The flight glasses are decent sized too so you get a good sample. I will be back!

We picked this gem of a restaurant for a quick lunch. Just walking into it you see the care that was put into the decor. It is filled with beautiful woods, board games, and other fun art pieces. Our lunch was delicious: chicken sandwich, kale salad, beer. They have a very good menu and a nice bar selection. Very friendly service.

This may be the best, most innovative wine bar we have ever visited anywhere! I'd love to write the 1st review!
Have eaten here before, and had a wonderful meal. This time everything we had seemed like it was missing flavoring. We waited quite a while before waitstaff came to wait on us. Ordered three dishes, all very "flat" tasting. In the middle of eating, one of the servers came by and asked if we'd like another drink. We said yes, but never received them. They didn't seem terribly busy, so don't think that was the problem. Very disappointed in our meal

A great selection for people out of town. It has a very welcoming vibe and a small town feel. It is a great restaurant to start drinking at before a night out in royal oak or to end a night of drinking either way it should be a stop for any royal oak visit.

Great beer selection and nice ambiance inside. They also have a great outdoor back patio as well as Woodward street side outdoor dining options. Food isn't anything fancy but it does offer some good sandwich and pizza options. Nice place to gather for a night out with friends or family.

Found this place while walking elsewhere -- huge beer selection, both bottles and draft. Had a good Pasty (UP Michigan baked meat pie enclosed in a crust) with a generous supply of hot gravy, with Bell's Best Brown, it was wonderful, and economical. Staff was friendly and knew the menu and beers; menu is a bit limited but good. Outside area I noted is Dog Friendly. Not fine dining -- plasticware for cutlery & beer glasses, but friendly open atmosphere, generous portions, friendly service, local and Michigan craft beers & food highlighted.
Boy, what a terrible bartender. Last night, I decided to stop by Kozy's around Midnight, as I was craving a cheeseburger. Boy, this bartender. I asked if the 'grill' was still open, and she said sure, and I asked if I could get a Cheeseburger, and a Rum & Coke. Mentioned that it was my friends Birthday who passed earlier this year. She told me she wouldn't serve me. I asked her why not, and she refused to elaborate. So, I went outside to have a cigarette, and talked with other people who were hanging out. She came up to me and told me I had to leave, and she was calling the police. Now, I am a very reasonable person. I don't get into peoples faces, or anything. The bartender was completely rude. She pushed me out, and I was trying to say goodbye to the people I was talking to. As I was outside, waiting for Uber driver, the police arrived. I asked if I seemed overly intoxicated to rude, and they said no. Apparently, this bartender is known by the local police for calling them a lot. Anyhow, I left, and went to a place called Eddies. The Cheeseburger there hit the spot. As for Kozy's, I will never go back here, unless I decide to have a conversation with the owners. Don't waste you time. This isn't a friendly place as long as that bartender works there. (I'm used to another bartender, who is very nice. Guess she doesn't work on the weekends as often as she used to.) Sad part is, the other staff members are nice, and this one bartender is driving away business. So sad.

I ordered the 3 chicken tacos, elote and the Mexican cheese fries with added beans. The chicken tacos were pretty good, the elote wasnât bad but was smothered with way too much butter for me, prefer it with just the cheese and spices myself. The cheese fries were soggy and sub-par as far as flavors goes for me. The fried looked too cooked as well. At least I have tried this place out finally.

I couldn't believe it. A five dollar burger to promote beef. I love it. With a full bar, this place is rejuvenating. Thanks to my son, we stopped in and we were surprised. The hamburger should be cooked a bit more. But they accommodated all of my requests. Unfortunately, they put sauce and cheese on it. They kindly recooked another hamburger. Fries come with it.
