A great selection for people out of town. It has a very welcoming vibe and a small town feel. It is a great restaurant to start drinking at before a night out in royal oak or to end a night of drinking either way it should be a stop for any royal oak visit.

We (2 adults/2 kids) went for a late lunch and were seated immediately. Only two other tables were occupied and they seemed to just be ordering drinks. Waitress was incredibly slow. Two of us ordered a drink, I never got mine. We waited approx. 30-40 minutes for a couple of sandwiches and an order of kid's chicken tenders. Thankfully, I cut into my son's chicken tenders to discover it was still raw inside. I alerted the waitress and a new meal was delivered to the table 20 minutes later. At this point, we were so done being there. After waiting another 10 min, I went to look for our waitress so we could cash out. Never again.
We live a mile away and walk here with some regularity. The ambiance is nice, clean and open. Service has always been good. Haven't ventured from the Noble Ghost beer because we love it so much. Most of the food is very good, soome of it is great. Some is just ok. They seem to actively tweak the menu to make it better. Some things we love are the smoked trout, taco wedge salad, the burrata (excellent!), and shrimp tostadas. Had the halibut special last night and thought it was great. The lamb burger is really good but heavy. We enjoyed the beef burger as well. Found the French onion egg rolls to be too greasy. I think the price point is right on for the quality of the food. Definitely worth a try!

This may be the best, most innovative wine bar we have ever visited anywhere! I'd love to write the 1st review!
Have eaten here before, and had a wonderful meal. This time everything we had seemed like it was missing flavoring. We waited quite a while before waitstaff came to wait on us. Ordered three dishes, all very "flat" tasting. In the middle of eating, one of the servers came by and asked if we'd like another drink. We said yes, but never received them. They didn't seem terribly busy, so don't think that was the problem. Very disappointed in our meal

Great staff! Very friendly and accommodating. The wait for food was long however worth the wait. The impossible vegan burger with fries were delicious!

I ordered the 3 chicken tacos, elote and the Mexican cheese fries with added beans. The chicken tacos were pretty good, the elote wasnât bad but was smothered with way too much butter for me, prefer it with just the cheese and spices myself. The cheese fries were soggy and sub-par as far as flavors goes for me. The fried looked too cooked as well. At least I have tried this place out finally.

We picked this gem of a restaurant for a quick lunch. Just walking into it you see the care that was put into the decor. It is filled with beautiful woods, board games, and other fun art pieces. Our lunch was delicious: chicken sandwich, kale salad, beer. They have a very good menu and a nice bar selection. Very friendly service.

Great beer selection and nice ambiance inside. They also have a great outdoor back patio as well as Woodward street side outdoor dining options. Food isn't anything fancy but it does offer some good sandwich and pizza options. Nice place to gather for a night out with friends or family.

Found this place while walking elsewhere -- huge beer selection, both bottles and draft. Had a good Pasty (UP Michigan baked meat pie enclosed in a crust) with a generous supply of hot gravy, with Bell's Best Brown, it was wonderful, and economical. Staff was friendly and knew the menu and beers; menu is a bit limited but good. Outside area I noted is Dog Friendly. Not fine dining -- plasticware for cutlery & beer glasses, but friendly open atmosphere, generous portions, friendly service, local and Michigan craft beers & food highlighted.
