Ordered takeout from here last night and it was amazing! The ravioli was great, pizza has little pepperonis, salad was fresh, and the shrimp was fabulous. Would recommend this place to anyone. The area it is in is a little rough do lock your car! :)
You know, there are times when I really miss the old days, you know like back when most chain pizza at least didnât suck. Revisit your expectations, people! On a recent visit with family we got takeout from Hungry Howieâs after my niece insisted that the food was good, the price fair, and that they never let her down. Listen up, people, that woman has a two month old and a 4 year old with a severe dairy allergy. So, we did it. Holy Hot Pizza, Batman! Food was quick, DELICIOUS, and just really well done. Thanks for bringing back the old days, HHâs, weâll be back!

If you want standard corporate Italian fare with a noisy atmosphere, go here. Otherwise, try Luigi's for REAL homemade Italian a few doors down. OK for families or larger groups who don't care too much about quality. Group salads are sparce with items other than lettuce.

We have been coming her long enough now I can say maybe I am one sided. However the pizza is hot and the staff is great. We always get the same and don't think it will change. I think we have been thru the entire menu once found our favorite and stuck with it. What we do change is our ice cream flavors. Check this place out

We came here because people recommended it for "Detroit style" pizza. Turns out, that's really just the equivalent of a Pizza Hut style pizza. That being said, it was delicious and the service was great and the prices were cheap. Would recommend for what it is.Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are happy to hear you found our pizza delicious and your recommendation means a lot. If there is anything else we can do to ensure your next visit is worthy of five-stars, please give us a call at 1-800-965-0505. Thank you.

Iâm not a fan of thin crust pizza, but is does shorten cook time. Good variety of ingredients (ordering for the first time is daunting, but the staff are very helpful and patient) and seemed fair quality, although not real spicy (perhaps by marketing design). Caesar salad was good. Nice choice of beverages.

This is an old school pizza place that has not updated its menu since the 80s... the pizza and spaghetti sauce still taste like they come from the same pot... its nice that they hire local people and even high school kids but boring boring food... not bad food... just boring

The cook dug down deep in the freezer to find this frozen and stale fish. Everything soaked in oil. Frozen food service French fries. Sirloin not cooked as ordered. Evident lack of pride in work. Wait staff great. For their sake hire a respectable chef who has some pride.

My wife and I always took her Aunt here when we came to visit her from Chicago. Sadly she passed in November at age 101. We came to visit her grave, old home in Redford where I loved sleeping in the enclosed from porch and see Detroit. DeLucaâs is the best Italian food Iâve had. Itâs not fancy, but what Iâve had at many an Italian home. DeLucaâs hasnât changed inside since weâve been visiting here the last 25 years. That is a good thing. I had mostaccioli Parmesan with meatballs & sausage and my wife had her meat ravioli. We shared a carafe of wine and made a toast to her late Aunt Annabelle who introduced us to the best Italian food in Detroit.

Charming atmosphere. Great service from Lisa. Check their online coupons. And yes their Detroit style pizza is worth the trip. Eight slices is more the enough for 3-4. Especially if you get a salad. Excellent prices on beer. Give it a try for something different and fun Maria, it is fantastic to hear that our pizza is worth the trip! Thank you for sharing your kind remarks and we're pleased to know you're a Buddy's Pizza fan. We look forward to serving you the next time you're in town.
