Let me begin by saying that this was our first time here so we cannot compare anything to a previous owner. We were a group of 24, many of whom had never had Lebanese food before. Hubby and I love Middle Eastern food. The cup of lentil soup was excellent ($3). The âsmallâ tabbouli serving was enormous and tasty ($5). The fried kibbee, served with yogurt, was also very good ($8). The falafel was somewhat over cooked ($8) and came with tahini, tomatoes and pickles. Our BBQ chicken wings were very good as well ($7). Overall we found the servings to be generous, nicely presented and reasonably priced. We let others try some of our selections to see if they liked it.... they all were pleasantly surprised. A few folks did not like their meals mainly because they were unfamiliar with the tastes, not because there was anything wrong with the food. Despite some negative reviews, which made us hesitant, I am very glad we went. The service was friendly, efficient and pretty quick for such a large group. Rania did a great job!! The decor and Arabic music rounded out a very enjoyable evening.

I past this place often on my way home. It is usually closed. One Saturday while visiting a friend, she let me taste some spicy hummus. I immediately left and got my own delicious. Maybe next time and try the baked goods.

Excellent food and great customer service. I had the house Maza platter which included stuffed grape leaves, hummus, falafel, and baba ghanouj. It was all excellent. The pita bread served is more like a flatbread and I prefer a thicker pita, but the rest of the food, and the service, was so good that I will definitely return!

When the started this place several years ago it was really nice. Probably management has changed that's why you will notice service and sandwich quality is being degraded. Ask for chicken sub and you will get empty bread!!!!!!!! Rude staff!

The baba ghanoush is the best I've ever had. Traditional. Just the right seasoning. Perfect. Just the right color. It was made the old-fashioned way, by hand & not food processors. And, there was a lot of it. Try the vegetable stuffed grape leaves. Absolutely to die for they are so tasty. I never had better in my life. Moist. Filling and they were served hot. This is the way they should be served. And, the Falafal was cooked just right. Again, moist and not deep fried like a rock. This place spoiled my palate it is just that darn good. Don't let the murals on the wall detract from the menu. The two have nothing to do with each other as far as I am concerned. Lots of parking. I also learned that they had a banquet. Of course, now I think that I should have gotten a carry out. By the way, whenever I ask anyone about a great place to go for Middle Eastern Food, I repeatedly been told about this restaurant. It's so totally worth the drive. Oh, you'll get a heck of a lot of bang for your buck. I've been there repeatedly.

Went to place an order for carry out. Girl on phone talking away private conversation. She finally takes the order. 4 men in the cooking area laughing, yelling, having lots of fun. I waited over 20 mins for my sandwich. Other people coming into restaurant placing orders in native language and getting their carry outs very quickly. Took sandwich home. It was very dry and not tasty.

Just off 24 (not far from 12 or I96), this is a wonderful Middle Eastern eatery in the Dearborn area. The breads are incredible. This is a great spot to venture somewhere between east and west. Delicious!

This was our first time visiting this establishment. The atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel welcomed right from the start. The food was absolutely the best Mediterranean food weâve ever had and we visit other restaurants in the area. This is it. If you want authentic reasonably priced food come no where else.

We visited La Pita again this year for dinner on a Wednesday night. It wasn't too busy so we were seated right away. Our server walked by a few times but it took another server saying something to him before he came to our table. We had humus and pita (their fresh pita is amazing!) and my mom had falafel while I had a shwarma roll. We shared fatoosh as well. Everything was delicious. Would definitely recommend.
