we usually get hamburgers, which are a one and you can have potatoes frenc fried or broasted either good, but sometimes opt for fish and fries, delish, plus any drink you can think of, but we are domestic beer drinkers, service always friendly and homey. the kind of bar where you can just hang out and not feel you have to eat and run,you can watch tv ,play keno, pool,or just eat.

We got very nice table with open front to Berkley main street! The restaurant offers good variety for vegetarians and gluten free. But overall food contained a lot of fat and was little overcooked. Service was in hurry as restaurant was fully occupied during dream cruiser event! Would go again but for drink and snacks only.

Mainly burgers, but full bar also
We are regulars to this Bagger Dave's. This visit was good, both in good and service. However, like every visit it seems, there was another change to something we previously enjoyed. They no longer have sweet potato chips. I was really disappointed because they were a favorite of mine. They gave replaced them with sweet potato fries which were decent. However, I can make sweet potato fries at home. I can't make the chips. I noticed that even the basket papers that the burgers are served on still say sweet potato chips. Another favorite thing about Bagger Dave's bites the dust. Do they do reservation before they make these changes or are they looking for ways to cut costs? I'm hoping nothing else that I love gets cut...

Seriously? Two filled bench-style tables, over 20 people and one waitress? My friend got poor advice from her - way more food than he wanted-, slow drinks, luke warm, slow from kitchen (dinner took over 1-1/2 hrs, I got parking ticket to show for it). Overpriced happy hour drinks. Generally it blows!!Hello,We are sorry to hear the experience that you had during your visit to our restaurant was subpar. I went to Griffin Claw last weekend and was so impressed. This is a restaurant with an on-site brewery. The selection of their beers was very good. There were about 20 listed on the menu, including wheat, IPA, lager, pilsner, stout and ciders. I had 2 flights (8 small glasses) and a burger and fries. Some of the beers were outstanding, and a some just OK. The burger was delicious and cooked to order. Seating is Oktoberfest style - lots of large tables and an outdoor section. It was a very relaxed setting. I will definitely return during our next visit to the Detroit area.

Town Tavern is a cool, contemporary American classic In 2007, a modern take on a traditional 1930s tavern opened its doors and made its mark on the busy streets of downtown Royal Oak. Town Tavern is a dining destination bursting with personality and servi
My wife and i stopped in before a concert. We had the town tavern burger, shirt rib tacos and chile grilled brussel sprouts. The burger was terrific, tacos were good and the brussel sprouts were outstanding. Nice beer selection. We had 3 beers and a coffee all which totalled just over $50. The service was a true highlight. The host, the waitress, the bussers and the management were very friendly, efficient, and helpfully. I would come back just for the service alone

The food was good not great. My fish was fresh and crispy, but the fries were a little overcooked & coleslaw was soggy.Sorry you weren't totally satisfied. Hope you come back and give us another try! If you aren't 100% happy with your meal please let a manager know, as we are happy to talk to you.

Our server Jess was attentive, knowledgeable and did an excellent job. We enjoyed the Tomato Fennel soup that had just the right mild kick and was served nice and hot. We went for fish and chips but on Fridayâs they have a Perch special so we chose Perch. Perch was lightly battered pan fried. It was not heavy. Very light and was delicious. Homemade fries were wonderful and the homemade coleslaw was very tasty. We tried the homemade tartar sauce and also thoroughly enjoyed it. Service and meal were excellent. Restaurant is not a chain so it was wonderful exploring different cooking. Menu had many interesting items on it that we will go back to try. Our server was willing to explain everything on menu we had questions about. They had a Kiwi Margarita special today that we didnât try but it looked amazing with real fruit 16oz for $11. Pretty good price for a drink that large. Definitely will go back.

Although burgers are their speciality, they also do a good job with appetizers, drinks and salads. The toppings for burgers are limitless. The fries leave much to be desired, but become passable when eating late and /or while drinking. Servers are fast, efficient and friendly.

They just opened last weekend. It is a converted car repair shop that the new owners have kept as the ambiance.
This is somewhat of a 'trendy' place in Royal Oak. It was crowed when we arrived for a relatively early dinner but no problem getting a table. Service was pretty prompt as well considering the crowd. Pleasant and friendly waitress. GREAT menu with some unusual unique items: I had the duck burger which was fantastic!Atmosphere was unique and interesting: building was a working garage, ie for fixing cars. The only reason I can't rate the place a '5' is the noise level was deafening. Playing music at high volume, it was really impossible to converse with my family. If you don't care for conversation, this is a perfect place!
