I visited with a friend of mine. He had the famous chili dogs and loved them. I got the reuben sandwich. The service was fast and friendly. The sandwich was stick-to-your-ribs filling and good. The fries were crisp, and the diet cola was cold. Heartily recommend.

I let the GPS find us a place for dinner and I must say this place was great! Arrived at 8:30 at night (they close at 9) and had the place mostly to ourselves. Waitress was so friendly. Food was delicious, hot and more than plentiful! Goolash was yummy and had to take half home for dinner the next day. Burger was BIG and cooked to perfection. Will come back on our way home.

We were so impressed by our experience last year at this local restaurant that we went back this year for daily breakfasts. We were NOT disappointed! Delicious breakfast foods at very reasonable prices with great service! We will continue to go to Cavis Restaurant every time we visit here!

I had business leaders meet here from 4 different foundations. So, meeting here to show the beautiful River and Freighter traffic after a day of sharing information seemed appropriate. Two evenings in a row were the same. Confused servers delivered the wrong appetizers to our table. Employees arguing about who was or is supposed to do what. It was more than evident that the servers and order takers were not communicating. The view is wonderful.

Just opened about a month ago. It is right downtown in Port Huron.
We went to a seminar today and lunch was provided. I chose 1/4 smoked chicken and wanted dark meat. With this I was allowed 2 sides. Horseradish mashed potatoes and jalapeño Mac&cheese. My meal was delicious even if the chicken was not hot, but it doesnât need to be. So I am ok and did even (think) of lucking the plate. So with that being said.... letâs talk about others plates. Mom had a brisket sandwich and the fries were cold and the cheese and brisket was also. It almost looked as if it had sat maybe under a heat lamp way to long. The lady across also had the same problem with the ribs.. the two ladies behind us made the same complaint and told management which brought more meat to help satisfy them. I believe it had to do with the circumstances of our ordering. I would give another try.

Casual, busy, noisy. Excellent service, the server tells what is being brought to confirm as if, "This is what you asked for!" which gives you the chance if not what you wanted. Delicious pizza. Crispy onion rings. Overloaded nachos. Best thing is the cocktails. Great real professional bartender. Long, interesting cocktail list plus seasonal options. The Brown Derby was fabulous; bourbon, honey, grapefruit juice with an orange peel. Try it, you won't be sorry I promise you!

Upscale yet casual. Turn of the century building restored to original elegance. Wine bar with regional breweries featured. Full bar on two levels with a great view of downtown Port Huron and Canada from our roof top level. Three private dining areas for p
We were refered here by the Fairfield Inn. Beautifully restored building with four levels. Brick walls, tin ceilings, wooden floors, wrought iron and old posters. Very extensive menu with different appetizers, entrees from salads, pizza, scallops, shrimp, steaks and more. I had the pizza which was done perfectly. My wife had the " build your own salad" with a choice of either salmon or chicken, fresh vegetables topped with balsamic vinegrette. She raved about the salad. Wide selection of beers, ales and IPAs as well as a nice wine and liquor selection. Very nice dinner on the top floor which is open to the sides allowing a pleasant evening with nice views. Total for appetizer, two entrees and a few drinks was $45. Our waitress was Natalie. She was cheerful and a nice complement to our evening.

In 1936 Beverly and Rubye Osborne were driving west from Oklahoma to California. They had no reason to be joyful. They were middle aged and the Depression had wiped out their savings. On this particular afternoon it seemed that everyone in the state was a

This restaurant was built during the Civil War! The decor - wood EVERY WHERE, gorgeous saloon-like coffee bar, stained glass, and absolutely intriguing detail all over the restaurant giving off the "Poe Vibe". Climb the stairs for the best view of the musicians that play on the weekend. Go Sunday for their Trivia Pursuit night (free and prizes to be won)! There's comfortable furniture on which to chill and listen to the the music on the weekend, and let's not forget the food. Mainly sandwiches with delicious subtle additions to keep the food interesting and "their own". Magnificent selection of soups, decent salads (potato salad is divine!), desserts and coffee and teas of every description, and alcoholic beverages too. This isn't just about food, it's a GREAT experience. Come for dinner, stay to play a board game, take a book off the shelf, or plug in your laptop. This place is an EXPERIENCE not to be missed! You'll want to come back, again, and again, and ...
