We ordered the Doners and they were very good. The bread they were served on was fabulous and so was the sauce. Small menu, if you donât eat meat thereâs only a salad and fried mushrooms as an alternative. The mushrooms were not good, Gordon food services.

Tried this place because of the really good feedbacks. However we do not see the extra good taste or preparation of the food. The soup and the mushroom sandwich werenât hot when served and barely spiced. Haloumi Bites and Cheesecake were ok. However I can recommend the restaurant for vegan and vegetarian as you donât find so many other restaurants in Detroit. To convince non veg. people the taste needs to step up little more.- service and dining room was good
this wonderful little place just opened up. Wow ! they make one heck of a cup of coffee. I think i had some carmel latte or something like that. it was so good. not too sugary where you cant taste the drink. It was just right. Also had a sandwich. another awesome choice. I love the condiments they put on it. it isnt bland and it isnt spicy. they will tell you if its spicy or not if you ask when you are trying to decide. the staff s very friendly and great decor. you can sit in the back room at tables or comfortable leather sofas. it is just a wonderful place to go . the lines are fast and the food is great. i recommend this to all my friends who are gonna be in the area

...it's more than all right, it's excellent. I visited my brother in Detroit last week and we came to the Dime Store twice for breakfast. The first day I had the Spicy Belly Benny, pork belly on a biscuit topped w/two eggs and hollandaise sauce. I loved it. The second time I had the Duck Bop Hash, duck over home fries topped w/two eggs. It was maybe bit salty for me, but still delicious. Their regular omelettes also looked good, but their Bennys and Hash dishes were great. Nice environment, good service, fair prices. I don't think you can beat this place for a quality breakfast.

We love the menu and how it changes... always fresh and delicious new options.Everyone is friendly and service is very prompt. The restaurant is usually pretty busy, but they work quickly to get you seated.Everything is so good and the portion sizes are pretty decent for the prices and for it being âsmall platesâ.We always order the potato chips... I mean, you have to get them... just indulge a bit, and get them.

130 Craft beer taps, scratch-made food your mom would make if she loved craft beer and live entertainment in the Huma Room, our second floor venue.
We had dinner on a Friday night before going to the Detroit Symphony down the street at Orchestra Hall. The place was packed! It didnât take that long to get a table, but it took 1/2 hour to get the food. While we did arrive on time for the concert I would never try this combination again.Decorations are great: lots of good pictures from rock bands, nicely framed. The 2nd floor gives you a nice view of downtown Detroit and it has a stage for live music. Had the pulled pork sandwich: very flavorful. We also tried the chicken tacos: good, a bit too spicy for my taste. There is parking available. And the Detroit Q-Line stops right in front of the restaurant.

A dining experience at The Whitney is so much more than simply a meal. Visit The Ghostbar for a cocktail and appetizer before dining in one of the Mansion's opulent dining rooms. Weather permitting, you may prefer to dine Fountain-side in the beautiful Wh
This is a fine dining establishment so bring your credit card. I have not been here for many years and was pleasantly surprised. It has a traditional menu, but the quality is excellent. Ask for an upstairs dining room... I prefer the atmospere and access to the Ghost Bar. We all had the Beef Wellington and it was good though it might have been warmer. The ladies loved the specialty cocktails...not so expensive if you make the happy hour. Lovely turn of the century decor. We love to see that we continue to impress you even years down the road. Welcoming you back was an absolute pleasure, and we're delighted to see you finally order from our menu again. Everyone has their dining room preferences, and we have to agree that the Ghostbar is a great environment to enjoy happy hour and our signature dishes in. Bringing the things you love most about us back to the table was certainly a lovely experience. Hope to welcome you back again. It's always great to have you.Best,Dave Duey, Manager

Grey Ghost is easily the best restaurant I have ever been to in Detroit. Everything from the magnificent craft cocktails to the phenomenal tiramisu and everything in between was to die for. The oysters were perfectly shucked and dressed. The octopus puttanesca on top of their homemade mozzarella was worth the trip alone. I can not say enough about the quality of food and service. Our server Angela always pointed us in the right direction and the entire staff made sure our glass was always full and are table was clean.

We always finish our weekend visits to Detroit with Sunday brunch at Seldon Standard. The menu has something new to offer every time we visit and each dish is prepared so perfectly. I'm a somewhat picky eater but at Seldon Standard I've ordered things outside my comfort zone and been impressed every single time. As a vegetarian, I appreciate that there's always a few options for me to choose from. Make sure to come hungry because you may want to order an extra side to fully enjoy the delicious menu. I hope to come for dinner sometime soon!

While tasting at The Detroit Whiskey Company, it was suggested we eat dinner at the Chartreuse Kitchen & Cocktails. So we made an on-line reservation that cost 20 bucks! What the ....? Since when do you have to pay to make a restaurant reservation? We eat out A LOT, all over the USA and this was a first. We went to the Chartreuse and as we were being seated, I made it a point to inquire about the 20 buck "Lucky You" charge. They assured me we would get a Complimentary Discount (another What the ...) since we actually showed up for our reservation. Then sheepishly they explained the charge was to insure that people with reservations actually show up, because it happened in the past that there were some no-shows. The Chartreuse's convoluted solution is to penalize the 95% of us who actually make our reservations because 5% didn't. Wonder how many customer's Chartreuse misses out on because once they hit that 20 dollar on-line fee to make a res, they go somewhere else to reserve for free.Oh yes - about the actual restaurant. Its a trendy, gentrified little place with a very eclectic menu and very expensive wine. Managed to find something we would eat and it was very tasty for each of us. The kitchen is slow, so be patient. The crowd that night was mainly hipsters, millennials, locals, techkies, suburbanites and a few of us oldsters. No early-bird or senior discounts here...Hello yowilly2019,It sounds like there may have been a misunderstanding. The $20 you paid when making a reservation was a deposit, not a charge or a fee... That deposit is fully refunded once you come in, or if you cancel the reservation in enough time for us to fill it. We're not crazy about having this policy in place either, but unfortunately no-shows are a much more significant issue for restaurants in Detroit these days. Before instituting this policy, more than a third of our reservations were either no-shows or last minute cancellations- we'd end up turning away dozens of requests for reservations only to have a half-empty restaurant for most of the night. If we continued without it, it would cost us over $80,000 per year in lost revenue. While some restaurants intentionally overbook, but we chose this policy because on the off-chance that everyone does show up, we don't feel it's right to make someone wait an hour and a half for their reservation. While we completely understand your frustration, hopefully you understand our situation- we certainly don't want to punish anyone, and appreciate you honoring the reservation you made!
