Cash only. The place was kinda empty Thursday afternoon. I didn't have much cash so could not stay long. Great juke box old school. Had what we wanted to drink. Not much else to say. Bar tender would not step out from behind the bar to serve. No big deal.

Were staying Birch Run and the name intrigued us.. Very rustic and kind of old school inside. The staff were pleasant and the food was really good for bar food. The burgers are cooked to your liking and big. You won't leave hungry. The chicken dinner was lovely too. Beer was freezing cold. Gold star for that alone !! We would happily return.

Stopped in with our kiddos. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Our son especially loved the buttered noodles. Barely touched his burger due to him devouring the noodles. Their pulled pork sandwich was amazing, so fully loaded, I ended up eating it with fork and knife. Their draft beer selection was great. Kiddos even enjoyed the accordian player that went by twice. Had a great experience here. It's great to hear that you and your family enjoyed your visit to Michigan on Main! Thank you for sharing your experience with us and we hope to see you again soon!

We go to the Elf Hollow once every visit to Frankenmuth. The buffet has something for everyone of all ages. After the basic breakfast, I go back for another biscuit, top it with strawberries and whipped cream. Something special when you have strawberry shortcake for breakfast! If you join the Zehnders rewards club there is a discount.

Obviously, Frankenmuth was noted for its Chicken. SLO Bones is a great change. We drove past it and decided to try it and the food was absolutely incredible, The spicy Bar B Que sauce was great and would be highly recommended. This is not our must stop when we are back in Frankenmuth!

There's something special about coming to Bavarian Inn Restaurant to enjoy a home-cooked meal. Since 1888, more than 20 million guests have returned to feast on our world-famous ?all-you-can-eat? family-style dinners.
We ate here in spring of 2019 and we were let down. It just didnât taste up to their standards, I let management know and they gave me a $40 gift card to come back and give them another chance. We came back and everything was great. Our server was wonderful. The chicken was great. We had family style and everything along with the chicken was very good. Bavarian Inn you got it right this time and I recommend anyone that gave them bad reviews to give them another chance.Your recommendation is very much appreciated. We're happy to hear that your return visit was the wonderful time that you expect to have when at Bavarian Inn Restaurant!

We are a casual dining establishment. We offer breakfast daily starting at 7:00 a.m. up until 11:oo a.m., we then have a full menu including custom pizza's, sandwiches, salads and burgers as well as 7 craft brew taps, bottled beer and wine & liquor.
We arrived in town on Friday to begin a bachelorette weekend. Group of 5 stopped in late for a quick bite and drink. It was an hour before close but we felt uncomfortable due to side eyed looks from waitresses. Eventually they were friendlier when they realized we were prepared to order and would be quick. Pizza was good. I donât think I would come back though. Itâs a tourist town and good service is king.

We stopped for lunch and wanted to eat outside. They have a large outside area with umbrellas over the tables. There are flowers all around which we love, and we saw butterflies too. However the umbrellas need to tilt according to where the sun is at, or need a full canopy top to the whole outside area, as the sun beat down on us really bad, except for a couple at our table of 6. It was a hot sunny day in that sun to eat in. The food was delicious, and the server was great. Nice setting to eat at despite the sun beating down on us. We had the club sandwiches and they were delicious and the bread was so soft/yummy! Price was reasonable too. Inside was Tiffany style lights. Great place amidst nature to enjoy a meal and also watch the people and horse and carriages go by!

We ate here 3 times because we loved the food so much. They have quite a few unique items and a number of selections that are more healthy. The chicken salad is great along w/ an appealing fruit cup, delicious sausage, omelets, and homemade granola. Many of the items have a good, fresh homemade quality and they do strive to use locally sourced products. We always went away feeling quite satisfied, but not overly stuffed. Be sure to give them a try and there is ample parking behind the restaurant. They do get very busy on the weekend and there may be a wait of 30 min. for a table. It is worth the wait, though!
