I recently met a friend for breakfast at a little restaurant in the Downriver community of Lincoln Park, Michigan. This community is just south of the Detroit city limits and it's considered to be a "blue collar" city. Many of the original residents were drawn there since the Ford Motor Company's Rouge Complex is only a couple miles away. This restaurant only seats around 20-30 people, but their food and service are great. We both ordered breakfast and our meals were delicious and very affordable. I has their special "Park Omelet" which was huge and very tasty. I had to take half of it home since there was no way I could finish it. From our booth, I could see the kitchen and the cook reminded me of Mel from the hit 80's TV series "Alice". The next time I go to the Park Restaurant will be for dinner with the family. If their dinners are even close to their breakfasts in quality, taste, and cost; it will become one of my favorite eating establishments.
Stopped in for lunch had a lemon rice soup it was delicious also had a chili dog that was very good, Wednesdays is Coney day where you can get 99 cent Coneys all day , I'll be back again!

Itâs been a few since we last visited this space on the skirts of SW Detroit. Iâm elated to report that the cheap, EXCELLENT food and interesting, local brews are still great. We sat at the bar. Our server was friendly and incredibly efficient. Know that youâll likely be ordering 3 to 6 items to complete your meal since everything comes decidedly single serve. Four rotating taps and a fairly large bottle selection of cold beer are available as well as crafted cocktails, liquor and a few wines by the glass.

Put off at first by the absence of patrons, our group was delighted to be served delicious food, generous portions, at a moderate price. Being in the hotel where we were staying, the convenience was just a bonus! We had breakfast the next morning, and it was just as good. Plenty of choices and a nice atmosphere.

Atmosphere: It's a diner with typical diner fare, nothing special. It was clean. We sat at the counter.Food: Food was tasty and the prices were great. They accommodated my partners special diet needs with a substitution at no extra cost.Service: Fast and friendly. Our food came out quickly. The coffee kept flowing. High marks here. It was a great little spot for breakfast and we would return.

Celebrating a 93rd birthday with a very, very large family is not an easy task between the birthday girl and the clan that we blame her for (Mom). Gus and Us does the task easily and deliciously. Large pans of food were enjoyed and consumed and everything was ready at the time we requested at a price point that was fair to them and to us. Good catering in addition to good food when dining in.

The Waterfront is a great place to enjoy great food, live music and cigar lounge. We would love to host your next private event in our banquet room! Located right on the Detroit River with docks available for our patrons.
I really wanted to like this place. We had called ahead for 5:30 seating and were seated quickly :)The table was all wonky, so every time I leaned forward to hear the conversation, the table dipped :( Told our polite, but O-So-slow server, and asked for a book of matches to tuck under the leg. He said heâd ask the manager. That never happened:(The music ( not the band setting up mind you) was so loud, the table behind us asked their server to unplug the speaker near their table:(Finally got our food. Simply had fish and chips. The coleslaw was hot( from sitting under the heat lamps waiting to be sent to table perhaps?)and my fish was chewy and small considering the $19 price tag. Even the fries were over done and tasted like the oil needed to be changed:(Guess I wonât be getting my $10 gift card for writing a GOOD review. Thatâs ok. We werenât planning on returning any way.

I am skeptical when it comes to fish that is not served from the U.P. However Zukins knocks it out of the ballpark! Excellent taste! The ribs are good also!!!
