The Cabbage Shed is a water front pub that has the character and flavor of an "up north" establishment. There are fresh, local food items including our fish tacos, and 1/2 lb. Shed Burger. Live music is a staple on Friday and Saturday nights. Our waterfro
A very busy place but probably because there are so few options in Elberta. Busy night, staff was friendly and accommodating, great selection of beer but food was marginal. Veggie burger (which got great reviews) was okay but didn't live up to the reviews (good that veggie burger wasn't some frozen packaged concoction but a long way from being what other reviewers described). Fries were soggy, salad was drenched in dressing, coleslaw is more of a vinegar slaw (don't look for creamy). It may have been that our food sat for a while as we did wait a very long time between ordering and getting the food. Nice place to sit on the deck. It may have been an off night as it was recommended to us by locals. But there would be little reason to try it again. Good vibe but we were underwhelmed by the food.

Casual family restaurant famous for in-house smoked meats including Dinghy's famous ribs, smoked chicken wings, pulled pork BBQ sandwich, French dip, BBQ chicken, bacon-wrapped smoked sausage. Fresh soups daily. Fabulous sandwiches including customer favo
Had very good pulled pork and a huge cobb salad. Grilled ham & cheese...just average.Booths are cramped, and tables are very close to each other. Difficult to navigate around the space. Place was packed on a week night in September, so others must find this a good place to dine.Sorry for the cramped conditions. We just try to accommodate as many as we can without making it impossible for our servers to provide the great service they are known for. thanks....

Excellent breakfast with very good omelettes and a varied menu. Veryreasonable prices. The "Shipwreck hash browns are a must. Also serves lunch, but the wait for a table is at breakfast time. Opens at 6:00AM, and unlike many up north restauarants, they ar
This little place was recommended to us by a family friend. We went on a Sunday morning around 10:30am and it was packed which was a good sign. We were quickly seated and drinks were brought. We ordered a variety of items and all of it came out hot and delicious with very large portions. The pancakes are huge and will fill you up quickly. They are light and fluffy and made with buttermilk. The hash browns come with various toppings. I had sausage, ham, and bacon with cheese on my hash browns. I ordered a half share and it was more than I could eat. The waitress kept our coffee and water topped off and brought us a box to take home the left overs. My cousin had the corn beef hash and it was delicious. I would recommend that you come hungry. You may have a wait as this place is very popular among the locals. I will be returning. They are open for lunch as well and I will also try it. If breakfast is any indication, lunch will be just a great.

We went to Stormcloud Brewing Company for a wedding party, and it was a good place to have it. The beer and wine were easily served at the counter, and they kept coming. They lived up pizzas and snacks to accompany the drinks. Thereâs a nice outdoor area as well as inside seating.

Rustic decorated family restaurant with full menu, outdoor seating in the summer. 8 large screen TV's for sporting events, 6 Michigan Keno screens, 3 digital draft beer screens. 23 beers on tap in the summer, 18 minimum in the winter. Authentic Broasted c
Traveling and ate here at the recommendation of neighbors at the campground. The waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and was very personable. Steak was over cooked, but still tender and flavorful. Sautéed veggies as a side were excellent. Would eat here again.

I was in the Bear Lake area last week and had breakfast at this restaurant 3 mornings. The premises are very simple. However, the staff was very friendly, the food tasty and the prices extremely reasonable. In particular, at breakfast I like to substitute fruit for hash browns, and each day I was given a very sizable portion of fresh cantaloup with my breakfast. I had eggs, patty sausage, toast, fruit and coffee for about $8.60 before tip - very good value.

All I heard before dinner was how wonderful The Glenwood was. It was certainly busy, especially for a Wednesday. Our server was great, well versed with the menu and very friendly. Our meals, on the other hand, were disappointing. Salads were wilted and soggy, brown at the edges. I skipped most of mine. My steak, was thin, over cooked and mostly gristle. One could get a better steak at a Dennyâs. And get three or four for the same price. My French fries were soggy. I didnât even think of getting desert. On the drive home, my companions remarked how disappointing this visit was compared to past visits. I hope to never visit again.

We lucked onto this place after floating down the Platte river nearby. It was a beautiful day, and we sat outside. I would not have been comfortable inside the way we were dressed- this is a very nice place. Service was prompt and friendly, food was delicious. Note that we arrived shortly after the opening hour of 4:30 and the place was already filling up. Reservations definitely recommended.

Stopped in the Big Apple for dinner. Glass of red wine (they had no white), crispy chicken sandwich with fries, that's it. The atmosphere is depressing, the service average, the food average. Surprising to me that the place hangs on - but perhaps that's because it is "the only game in town" in this small rural village.
