Heard about this place for sometime and finally ‘found’ it.
The understated, un presuming exterior, hides a pleasant interior with great food,
Managed by a couple of European and Caribbean backgrounds.
The menu was quite varied, pressed for time,
I ordered a sandwich which was delicious!
The Lady Owner was welcoming and was
Interesting in the range of conversation..
Both had backgrounds in culinary arts from
Well known countries.
How they came to meet us a topic for another visit, not to mention the food.

Stopped in on a hot day and they had a ton of flavors! Really hard to choose from. Only down size is they were already out of a lot of the flavors I would have liked to try, but they still had plenty to try! Great for kids and families.

I absolutely love their sandwiches and pastries, but what really keeps me coming back is their coffee selection and the atmosphere of the cafe. The service is always great and I will continue to go there as long as I live in Indiana.

Named after Boyd Gaming co-founder Bill Boyd, William B's Steakhouse is a world-class steakhouse in the tradition of Las Vegas’ legendary Stardust Hotel and Casino. But there's more than steak on the menu. You'll also find fresh seafood and exquisite pasta dishes, all prepared with classic Midwestern flair.
We go to WILLIAM B's at least 5-6X a year, We were there last night and made a few changes to our normal menu. First of all PATRICK (the Maitre'D and Sommelier) is the most gracious and nice person! He treats EVERYONE as if they...MoreThank you for the kind words about your meal and Patrick! Truly both are outstanding. - Boyd Gaming Customer Service

Great local ice cream shop...just don't ask for pie (sadness). The dozens of flavor selections made it tough to decide, but in the end our selections were delicious. We were disappointed that there wasn't any pie (we're not doing pie right now) per a young associate. The atmosphere is right out of the 50's and there are lots of great ways to enjoy their homemade ice cream. By the way...we returned the next night for seconds!!

In 1974 Mike Buda, Holly's founder, opened his doors after many years in the hospitality industry at other area restaurants. It wasn't long before word spread that the food was delicious and reasonably priced, the service was excellent, and Holly's became a favorite choice for casual family dining. Keeping the business in the family, Mike Buda's daughters, Jennie and Michele, spent time helping their dad at work during their youth. Following their graduation from Purdue University's Hospitality and Tourism school, Mike turned the daily operations of the restaurant over to his energetic and capable daughters. The restaurant serves traditional American cuisine, with select Mexican specialties and Barbeque favorites to really spice things up! You'll enjoy sandwiches piled high with only the best-quality ingredients, delicious homemade soups and salads, and one of the best French Dip sandwiches anywhere. For dinner, try our strip steak - or feast on a variety of appetizers and late night munchies at our bar. Enjoy your team in action on one of our 15 televisions, complimented by your favorite ice-cold beer, wine, or a cocktail. The Buda family takes great pride in being a locally owned, hometown-dining establishment. And, in today's market of chains and franchises, it's a pleasure to experience the friendly welcome you'll receive at Holly's Restaurant and Pub. So, whether you're new to the area, just passing through, or a born and bred "MCer" - get together at Holly's for hometown family fun!
Stopped by with the family on our way back to Michigan. We got in just before the afternoon rush. At first the place was completely empty but within 30 minutes it was completely packed. Lots of large groups with family members so decent group of people. The service was good and we received our food fairly quickly even though they were very busy. We ordered a couple of burgers and a salad. My wife said the salad was OK but the two burgers we ordered weren't very good. I ordered the anytime burger with an egg on top. The burger was supposed to be medium with some pink in the middle but it was definitely well done to the point that it was almost burnt. The egg on top was completely cooked which wasn't what I had expected. We had the same experience with the second burger. We ended up just leaving the rest of the food and figured it wasn't going to get any better since they were extremely busy.

Just off the shores of Lake Michigan you will find Shoreline Brewery. This Brewery has been nestled a block away from Lake Michigan's singing sands since 2006 and is a two time World Beer Cup award winning brewery. They offer twelve taps of craft beer, all made onsite plus a full bar with signature cocktail and wine menu. The brewery offers upscale pub grub with family dining available.
Very nice place to eat in this little Indiana town near Lake Michigan. Not just your typical bar food like you might expect at a brewery restaurant. Clearly someone in the kitchen has some professional culinary training. The beers are very good too!

We live in the area and go almost once a week. Quality, delicious food. Seth usually waits on us and he personalizes each visit. Atmosphere is good and in the summer time they have outdoor seating.
Tonight they had the Mac& Cheese Burger as their special and it was really awesome. I had the Philly Steak sandwich and the meat was SO tender. We also recommend the Lobster Roll, Hipster, BLT sandwiches and the Glazed Chicken, Pork Chops and Salmon dinner. Also their French fries are homemade, fresh cut and crispy and come with what tastes like homemade ketchup.
Their specialty is grass-fed burgers and free-range pork chops.
They have something on the menu for everyone! This is a must stop restaurant in Michigan City!

Stopped at this homey joint on New Years Day, ravenous after a night out on the town in Chicago. We were not disappointed with hearty portions and efficient, friendly service! Our waitress anticipated our every need and we received our orders quickly. Between the four us we had pancakes, blueberry crepes, a French dip sandwich, and a meat lover's omelette. All was delicious! The owner took time to chat with us as we were paying our checks and thanked us for eating at his place. You can tell a lot of love and care goes into this place. Would recommend to hungry road trippers or anyone else looking for a good meal!

Just a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Handicap accessible as we had our quadropelicic friend with us and he had a great time. So if you want a great night out go to Galveston Steakhouse.
