Quaint and charming place for an overnight stay
Reviewed By JTMSydneyLondonThe only reason I scored this property as very good rather than excellent was because the room was tiny but to be honest, everything else was just terrific. We stayed here overnight on a road trip from the Ardeche to Lyon. The hosts were fabulous. Rarely have I stayed with such welcoming and accommodating hosts. We found the B and B via the local Tourist office who rang and secured us a room. Our room was tiny but adequate, it had a fan and only a small bathroom but we listened to water rushing down a stream nearby at night which was lovely. Swimming from below the bridge in the river was great fun and they have set up bean bags and a shade for you to sit and relax there. The balcony is great for breakfast and when we returned late at night from Thuyets for dinner, the hosts (whose names I have forgotten) had waited up for us, set the balcony with candles and welcomed us with drinks and conversation. They both speak excellent English and a number of other languages. It was a delightful place to stay.

Excellent, super séjour
Reviewed By denisecrawford68J'ai passé une semaine là-bas et c'était tout simplement excellent. Fraîchement rénové, super calme, et vraiment une superbe vue. Et pour couronner le tout les hôtes étaient vraiment très sympathique et disponible si besoin. Les enfants ont adorés et moi aussi, on a tous les trois bien pu se relaxer. Que du positif à dire sur Les Grillons. J'ai malheureusement pas eu la chance d'aller manger au restaurant (très très bon d'après mes parents qui sont des habituées des lieux) car il était fermé lors de mon séjour, mais ça me donne une excuse de plus pour revenir.
