Situated directly on the beach and next to the archeological preserve this is a great escape. Very few amenities included; exterior shower, no AC, not even a hair dryer. This views are beautiful. My bungalow was very tight for one with an average and one small piece of luggage.

Papolchac Coba Residence & Spa will unleash your inner explorer. Located in the ancient ruined city of Coba, this two-tower hideaway offers guests a completely new idea of relaxation, with stunning views of the Mayan pyramids and unique sunsets on the green lagoon at their feet. There’s nothing compared to this peaceful retreat in the middle of the jungle; the calming feeling as you relax by two outdoor pools, the original cuisine of modern Mayan dishes, and the magical atmosphere of this wild and mysterious place. Come visit our other COQUI COQUI Residences: Coqui Valladolid, Coqui Merida, Meson de Malleville at Valladolid and Casa de los Santos at Izamal
We only came there for lunch after busting Coba. The hotel looks beautiful, very nice shop and perfumes as well. The restaurant staff is very friendly however the food is not at the level of the hotel in our opinion but great experience overall. Worth it for a quick lunch with air conditioning.

Our tour company had booked us to stay here, but had to leave as they had no bar, or restaurant facilities, except breakfast. It was too far from any other hotel for us to walk. The grounds were swarming with mosquitoes. It was a pity as the rooms looked really nice and it might be OK if you had a car and were prepared to go out for all meals and drinks. It appears that in the past they had a bar and did good dinners, but this has now stopped. You may be able to get some warm water, but they only have solar panels, so maybe not. The web site says “on request”. It says English spoken, but they only spoke Spanish and the site seemed to be looked after by a maid and a security guard, with no other staff present

Great and abundant food by Margarita, and drives to Urique and Tarahumara/Rirumuri sites and culture by Mario. great overlooks of the Urique Canyon. we were picked up by Mario at Divisidero...friendly, good English. The ranch is pretty self-sufficient, with cattle, horses, veggie garden, etc. A highlight to our trip to Copper Canyon.

The stablishment consists in a Traditional Hotel with wood finishes, with 26 rooms and 27 cabins, both establishments are just in the center of the village "La Manzanilla de la Paz", next to the temple. A 3 km, we also had a Rancho who is over 100 acres of orchards, equipped for mountain biking tracks, Motrocross, 2 Zip Lines, the Death way game, the Amazon way game, one Soccer Field, area of little sheep for kids, Swings, a place for make the food , bathrooms, showers and large green areas with games for youth rallies and competitions.
I visited La Manzanilla de la Paz to celebrate my friends daughters coming of age. Small home town feeling with friendly people, amazing food and great culture. Weather is in the mid 80 and high 60 at night. Great place to visit and unplug from the stress of work and life.

I chose Hotel D’Monica for its central location and fair price on a busy night where most hotels were booked up in San Cristóbal de las Casas. I liked it so much that I decided to extend for an extra night and I really enjoyed spending time at the hotel. The location was perfect, the whole hotel as well as the rooms were impeccably clean and well maintained. The room and the bathroom were big, well equipped and felt very welcoming. The staff was also quite helpful and accomodating. They were honest in telling me that the wifi might not work in the room but in fact it did most of the time which was great.

My family booked 5 rooms in January for April to attend Tepabril. Due to COVID-19 the fiestas in Tepa were canceled this year. We called the hotel to cancel our reservations and they refused to credit our account. They only agreed to re-schedule our stay, which we don't want to do, especially since there is a stay at home order in Mexico and COVID-19 cases are rising. This hotel does not offer refunds, but during this unprecedented time, we expect exception to that rule. All other hotels are making exceptions. As it is, during the month of April due to the fiestas this hotel charges double their normal rate. Customer Service is horrible! They lost all our future business and we will spread the word.
