+++ The staff is lovely and the hostel is very nice and very clean. Beds are comfortable and you can charge all your devices while sleeping. Lockers are big enough for you backpack. They are big spaces outside really chill when there is no techno music (between 7am and 1pm). The location is good, between the city and the beach so perfect! - - - But be careful, it's a hostel for partying, it's not possible to sleep, the dj puts on music until 1am at least (and very loud it’s almost you can feel your bed move with the beat!) and after months in hostels, it's the first time I've come across such disrespectful backpackers, they come into the dorm and turn on the light at any time of the nights, they speak loud, they laugh and just don’t care about people sleeping. I’ve been to other party hostels but the vibe was totally different.

Stay at the best place 4 all kind of Nomads, great rooms, superb prices now at Isla Mujeres.
We arrived on an evening when the weather was awful (due to hurricane Agatha) and the weather was supposed to stay that way our whole stay (5 nights!) Fortunately it was just bad for one day and then absolutely perfect! When we arrived we were actually shown 3 different rooms and allowed to choose - since the one we had booked on booking.com was right by the party area, they were super considerate of how noisy it might be for us and we ended up essentially getting a free upgrade to a huge lovely room. It is a party hostel - they don’t hide this and we were aware but we appreciated being in a room where the music wasn’t disturbing :) However the doors/windows didn’t really lock and there was no safe- but we felt quite safe and secure anyway! There is a Kitchen and place to fill up your bottle with drinking water. The whole place is honestly beautiful - the decorations etc it’s just lovely to be around. There’s also an adorable friendly dog, cats and even ducks. The beach area isn’t huge but big enough, people go and sunbathe on the pier over the ocean anyway. We booked a snorkelling trip via Nomads and had the best time - our tour guide was someone called Miguel. We would 100% recommend (it was the underwater museum one but he also took us to a reef). They put on lots of free activities e.g. guacamole making, cocktail making, ceviche (all free). And the parties at night are great fun. Some of the staff members are fantastic. We loved Jose the bartender! We also hired a golf buggy via Nomads to explore the island. We didn’t shop around so can’t say it it would be better value elsewhere but it was just easy to get it directly from them. The best place to head is downtown (where the ferry port is) as there’s sooo many bars and restaurants. We went round the entire island on our buggy. It was so fun and felt very safe. You can also order food directly to the nomads bar - they have a mini food market and it is pretty decent. We also would thoroughly recommend the restaurant across the road for breakfast/brunch/lunch. We went practically every day. Isla Mujeres can get quite swarmed with tourists but we did feel quite separated from all of that at Nomad’s, which was great. We would definitely come back, thank you to all the staff for a fantastic stay!

Andres and Jonathan were amazing and very welcoming from the start. We loved their Margaritas and chocolate shots ?. We stopped in here to get a quick bite before our booze cruise and came back after. The Dj was playing our jams. We definitely recommend this place.

I brought my mom here for a little girl’s get away. This place is amazing we were here 8 nights and we saw all kinds of people stay here. Singles, couples and families and there was definitely something for everyone. Hobies on site activity directors were amazing. Ask for Gustavo he is so attentive and will make sure that you or your little ones have fun and are comfortable on the kayaks or paddle boards which are FREE btw. I can’t say enough about this place. Food great. Service amazing. Just completely exceeded our expectations! Will definitely be coming back!

After getting a free upgrade I was very happy about the room. I did not expect that they placed us on top of a bar where live music was playing untill 02:00 PM. This was by far the worst night I ever spent in a hotel.

Established in 1976, Selina Isla Mujeres was originally the first hotel on the island! Situated right on the beachfront, our unique location is complete with a cocktail bar, seafood restaurant, library zone, cinema room, and outdoor playground home to a range of music events and group workshops each week. Plus, our spacious, fully-equipped co-living apartments are decorated with locally-sourced artwork and comfortable furniture, perfect for travelers in search of a long-term getaway. Head to Playa Norte and Playa Sol, just a 5 minute walk away, and catch local runners and yogis out for early morning sprints and salutation stretches under the breathtaking orange sunrise. Need for speed? Rent our bikes, electric scooters or go-karts and explore the town in style! Back at Selina, refuel with crispy fish tacos and mezcal cocktails, followed by a live acoustic music performance at sunset.
It’s like a jail in paradise. Nice ambiance but everything is super regulated, you cant do anything . Also the whole organization and communication was HORRIBLE!!! Wouldn’t come back even if they would pay the absurd amount i had to pay to stay in an overcrowded dorm.

Mexico City Hostel and its renovated brother Mexico City Hostel Suites consists of two beautiful colonial buildings -right across from each other- and are located just a few steps from Zocalo in Mexico City's Historic Center. This colonial places will make you feel like home involved in a Mexican atmosphere. We are very close to interest places for Mexican tourist as well as backpackers from all around the world, such as galleries, museums, shops, markets, bars or night clubs, artisans, historic buildings, monuments and squares. We provide 3 types of peaceful, comfortable and spacious accommodation: private rooms with bathroom, private rooms without bathroom and cozy dormitories.
Looking through their photos I thought it would be an ugly place since they have put an ugly first photo on their page but look past that and book immediately! The place is beautiful outside and inside! They are really clean too! It’s around everything and near zocalo. I was really surprised that a hostel in Mexico can look this good. Book book book! And it was also very surprisingly cheap. The only down side is that they sell soap rather than give one for free lol
