Seasonal Hotel. Currently Closed for the winter season. Hotel opens again on April 2020. Our hotel is located 38 km from Kalamata and 12 km from Koroni , in one of the most beautiful fish villages in Messinia, Agios Andreas. We offer mediterranean cuisine in our restaurant with daily fresh fish and traditional Greek dishes. Enjoy your food next to the harbour of Agios Andreas. With the recent renovation we created a beautiful space which, in combination with our experience in touristy services, creates the ideal conditions for pleasant vacation. The hotel is located in the centre of Agios Andreas in front of the marina, literally within a few meters from the seaside.
We stayed in the hotel (five people) for two nights on our journey through Greece for the second time after having loved our stay here two years ago already; and we were not disappointed: The rooms are clean and have everything you want and need, the location is right at the marina with many great restaurants in front (but it's still relatively quiet – only the main street on the other side can get a little lively in the evening/morning), the reception is very warm (every guest gets a fresh orange juice for free – it's a beautiful tradition), there's a nice parking space in a lovely garden area a minute away, a very nice small beach with plenty of parasols and deck chairs (plus a bar) can be reached on foot in two minutes – probably the most important part! – and everyone there seems to be really nice and helpful. And what we actually came back for: The breakfast! It has everything we wanted – fresh orange juice en masse, nice warm dishes and delicious fruits. During the pandemic, you have to wear a mask and a glove, but the experience was definitely above-average nonetheless and I can't think of anything that really bothered me too much during our short stay! VERY fair pricings and the hotel deserves more stars without any doubt. We also visited the restaurant right in front of the hotel which was nearly empty when we arrived and we were positively surprised: The starters were all super tasty and my meal was one of the best I've had here – and that all for little money! I would return at any time... No matter how old or how big the group, this relatively small hotel has the ideal offer. I don't really understand the complaints because I enjoyed every second of our stay (especially because there were no mosquitoes and the Internet was great!); maybe having a big car can be an issue while parking, but even our mini-bus always managed to get by...

My wife and I visited Methoni at the beginning of August and chose Foinikas hotel for our 1 night in town. Even though the hotel looks well kept in the pictures, it is not. During our stay we were never able to use the internet of our hotel, but the one of Achilles Hotel which is right across the street. They made a story up-the municipality is doing some works and we are out of service. Funny how all the hotels and restaurants around it had a 5/5 signal. The phone was out of service as well. When asked, the receptionist’s answer was “yeah I don’t think it works”. The room itself was dirty and full of rust at certain parts of it. The fridge was a source of infection as it was old and rusty. The bathroom was covered in dust and stains; never mind the holes on the walls. Another excuse came after all of this had been addressed to the so-called Front Desk. They disinfect the rooms daily and the tiles got destroyed. A daily disinfection but the fridge has somehow managed to escape and retain its filthy condition. The following morning we visited the breakfast buffet which was only holding us another surprise. All of the food displayed without a single cover on any of it. This is unacceptable to see and experience during the times we are going through atm. We skipped breakfast and left asap. We messaged the establishment as we wanted to share our comments with higher management and requested a 50% discount on the room rate as we did spend the night there. The owner came back with an answer that took us by surprise. We were asked to remove our initial review and only then we would receive a partial refund. After a few minutes of confrontation, he caved and requested for a bank account of ours. Another lie came only a week after. There was a problem with their IBAN and they couldn’t process any transfers. We are truly not interested in a refund anymore. We firmly believe that such hotels SHOULD NOT BE OPERATING at all. Management that pays no respect to their customers and have the least knowledge on authentic hospitality. Owners that demand 100€ for a basic room and want to offer as little as possible. A half renovated room with a thin and hollow door you could hear everything happening around you. Avoid this place at all costs. Pay a visit to the hotel across the street that seems to offer what they advertise.

We stayed for 2 weeks and we enjoyed our stay very much. The receptionist was super nice and very helpful. The view from the balcony is wonderful and it just a few minutes walk from the beach. The bed is big and confortable, and the room was cleaned very well. The only downside: its location directly at the main road, so it was quite noisy sometimes (not much traffic, but loud cars and motorcycles).

This small hotel is located right on the shore of Marathopoli. Make sure to book room 201, with the best panorama view over the sea. Marathopoli is a charming small village, but with many top-quality seafood restaurants. Everything is within a walking distance, including the place to go for a swim.

We spent a week here at the end of August having booked a few weeks before. Petros studios were in a perfect position situated on a quiet road and a few minutes from the harbour area and Halikoura Beach. The studios were spotlessly clean with everything you need for a self catering holiday with a well equipped kitchen area. we found the room very quiet and couldnt hear the guests on either side of us. Petros and his wife were very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend and will return when we next come back to Stoupa. Had great private taxi transfers each way too booked with Kostas from West Mani Taxi Service.

Very clean room with balcony, comfortable for my stay in Methoni. Andrea is a wonderful hostess, welcoming, and prepared a very nice breakfast with a personal touch. Enjoyed the beach which was walking distance, the great restaurants, and my visit to the fortress. Everything was a short walk away from this classy hotel.

Parthenon rooms is located at the harbor of Koroni, downtown in a very convinient location near bars and restaurants etc. We are 5 minutes away from artaki beach on foot and 3 minutes from Zaga beach by car. Our rooms offer tv ,fridge ,free wi-fi, air-condition and of course balkony wiht nice view of the sea.
Lovely location, Lovely people. The owners were so helpful and welcoming, I had a room over looking the Harbour with gorgeous views and even saw the occasional Turtle surfacing in the bay while drinking my morning coffee on the balcony. Rooms are basic but very clean with daily sheet changes, air con works well and is needed beds comfortable and showers are good. We ate in the restaurant several times and the food was really nice, nothing fancy just simple well prepared fresh food, exactly what we wanted. The nearest beach is a 2 minute stroll, there is a small cafe on it which is more than adequate and can highly recommend the Bruschetta and Chips !, Zaga beach is a bit of a hike if you're staying in Koroni town however Taxi's will drop you there for 5e, it's a lovely beach but we preferred the smaller town one. Restaurants and bars are within 150 metres along the front, but you are not disturbed by any noise as most places are closing by 12ish although they are happy to stay open if you're sat chatting and drinking. Will happily return to Koroni, if you're looking for a quiet relaxing beach holiday with good food, honest nice people and prices I would heartily recommend it.
