Mersin is a large city and a port on the Mediterranean coast of southern Turkey. It is part of an interurban agglomeration – the Adana-Mersin Metropolitan Area – and lies on the western part of Çukurova, a geographical, economical, and cultural region. The city was named after the aromatic plant Myrsine (Greek: Μυρσίνη) in the family Primulaceae, a myrtle that grows in abundance in the area (Turkish: mersin); the 17th-century traveler Evliya Çelebi wrote that there was also a clan named Mersinoğulları

This place is located in the shopping mall FORUM Mersin, and famous with Turkish desserts and icecream. It is one of the oldest well-known desert producer company.
I would offer Baklava,Kadayif but dont forget to try Kunefe-which is a famous desert of this area-with icecream.
Prices are fair and the quality is excellent.
One porsion is around 3-4 euros and taste will go all the day.

A profiterole, cream puff, or choux à la crème is a filled French choux pastry ball with a typically sweet filling of whipped cream, pastry cream, custard, or ice cream.
This restaurant offers the best profiterole that I have ever had. By the way, I am located in Istanbul, and I have not found as good as this one.

As being on the coastline and being close to other pubs and cafes location of Hatay Restaurant is perfect. IN idea, it is a kebab restaurant so do not have so high expectations. Their kabab is not the best but it is above the average (really above); they serve alcoholic bevarages it is a huge plus of them. Their side dishes and apetizers are diverse and delicious. But! keep in mind that this restaurant is really expensive. It is a nice place to host special guests with traditional Turkish food and drinks.

Best tantuni in Mersin city center. However, staff behave like they want you eat quickly and leave, no greetings, they took your plate very quickly.

I had a terrible experience eating at this restaurant, the taste wasn't waww. and they billed us double the price of the menu, for instance we ordered a salad dish which is listed for 8 Turkish lira, the price on the bill was 20, for the fish the price per kG was 60 TL they billed us 90, and they claimed that the lowest price is for the small sea bass. in conclusion avoid these cheaters.
