Deep red walls and rich hardwood accents create an inviting and relaxing setting for an exciting, eclectic meal at Zanzibar. The menu contains numerous original contemporary American dishes with world influences. Two of the most popular items, lahvosh, is an Armenian cracker bread topped with a five-cheese blend, veggies, and a variety of meats and Meatloaf Mignon (this isn’t your mama’s meatloaf). The bar can mix up hand-craft cocktails, over 65 kinds of martinis, and offers an unique wine list. The menu is very vegetarian friendly (any meal can be altered) and contains over 100 gluten-free options. They also create their own spice blends that are available to take home. Reservations are recommended.
The atmosphere is very nice,. I love the location in downtown Menomonie. The staff and service are excellent. My favorite thing is their martinis. They have a large creative selection, and they are wonderful, best I've ever had. The food I thought was okay but expensive for the quality.

I'm usually a plain latte drinker, maybe iced if I'm feeling adventurous. But one of the consistently friendly and helpful college kids at this Caribou convinced me to try a new Cooler, saying "You'll love it." Wow! Was she right... luscious dark chocolate, intense mint, just strong enough to be more than subtle, but not enough to overpower the coffee. Wish she hadn't done that; I'm sure it's a whole day's worth of calories, and summer's just begun...

Once again, Trip Advisor nails it by rating Log Jam #1 in Menomonie, WI.
Stopped in for a late lunch on a trip home. The food was a little better than good, and the service was better than great. I’ve long held that an average product served up with superior customer service is a winning combination 100% of the time. Log Jam confirms that opinion.

We stopped here with our soon to be graduate from UW-Stout and assorted family members for coffee and light meals. Loved the place!! Great ambience, coffee and food. Service was attentive and friendly, but also down to earth. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

They do deliver... I don't know what to put here. e-mail me so I can help you more.
You cannot best their pizza, but their broasted chicken, gyros, spaghetti and garlic bread are also the best you’ll find in the area. This a fantastic, long standing family run business in the heart of downtown Menomonie that is a must-stop destination for visitors. Try the Mama Mia.

Fun Americana decor. Weekdays is serve yourself and pay via honor system. Good iced chai drinks on weekends. Fantastic architecture, even in the basement coffee shop. The building is lovely and preserved with historical details. Christian radio can be a bit loud, but the atmo is well worth it. Also, free wifi and close to campus.

Ate here with friends on a Friday night early November. It was raining so hard that the parking lot and sidewalk were somewhat flooded. Part of our party was already inside so a table was already ready. The atmosphere is inviting, there is a main floor table / bar area and an upstairs loft style area. Our goal for the evening was to order a few different pizzas and taste test them. (We were already familiar with their beer as it is on available at various places throughout the town.) In taking a look at the menu, we found unique combinations of wood-fired pizza. The server was attentive in the beginning but as the Friday night rush took over, requests took a little longer. When our food arrived it was very charred, but I imagine that is to be expected from a wood-fired pizza but it really gave no flavor to the crust. These cheese was not what you would expect from a would-be mozzarella, and had a strange texture and taste. I wanted to love it, based on previous reviews, but I just didn't. You make the call :)

Looking for a late lunch we found this place. Nice looking restaurant both inside and out. Service was pleasing and we felt welcome and recognized as valued customers. I got a breakfast and my wife got the steak and shrimp. My Western omelette was perfect, hot and tasty. I read another review that said the pancakes were not too good but I found them really tasty! My wifes dinner was good but the steak wasn't really too tasty. It was tender though. Salad was good. Nice atmosphere, pleasant servers. We would eat there again.

Friday night fish fry is the best in town. The service is pretty good. If you want to eat there I would suggest to come early and get in line early.

I really enjoyed the hoagie/soup combo (roast beef/beer cheese). My lunch companion had the hummus pita and said it was fantastic. The brewed iced tea was delicious as well. An eclectic decor I would expect next door to a university and a pleasant mix of customers. I will definitely be returning soon.
