Lovely place, warm and friendly welcome, good service and gorgeous view outside the conservatory over the Straits. It’s closing in June for a major refurbishment so I’ll be back to check it out next time I’m over this way for a wedding.

Booked a table outside. Starters arrived promptly and were nice. The we waited and waited and waited. Went inside to ask about our mains. We're told we were next. Then we waited and waited. Went inside again and we're told our meals were being plated up. So we continued waiting and waiting. Went inside again only to be told that the kitchen was just about to start cooking our meal. Asked for our money back at this point. Will never eat there again. Absolutely awful experience.

We stayed overnight on the way to the ferry in October. There was no food available , no evening meal, no breakfast ( why advertise both ?)we could not use the car park , which still contained last year's dead Christmas tree . The room was filthy and had not been cleaned , no light in the shower the bedside lights didn't work fitments were hanging off the walls, there was a packet of cigarettes in the bedside drawer

Tucked away on the south-west corner of Anglesey, The Outbuildings provides luxurious and welcoming bed and breakfast accommodation. The setting is sublime - surrounded by tranquil farmland with glorious views of the Snowdonia mountains. Each of the five individually designed en-suite bedrooms has its own private outside entrance and includes a welcome tray with homemade cake or biscuits on arrival, small flat-screen televisions, iPod docking stations and WiFi.
Great accommodation, everything you could possibly need for self catering and the weather was mostly kind for the full week. The owners are friendly and helpful and leave you to it once they’ve explained the do’s and dont’s. WiFi brilliant and two lounges(one with a full size snooker table) with a large TV in both make the long dark evenings fly by. Overall a fantastic week away on Anglesey in winter…
