American Artisans is a great place to enjoy a quiet and delicious lunch. We offer soups, salads and sandwiches all made in house. We brine, marinate and cook all of our meats. Our salad dressings and sandwich spreads are developed to compliment and enhance the overall flavor of the salad or sandwich. Our hand-cut and fried potato chips are a specialty served with our Chipotle Aioli. Our gallery is filled with high quality gifts, hand-crafted in the USA.
Trip advisor never steered me wrong because this was rated high and we love the variety and "different" types of foods. We had to order ours to go and sit in the car because we had a dog with us but we could have eaten...MoreThanks for coming in and taking the time to write a review. Hope you can acome again soon!

Had a quick scoop here. Was exactly what you would expect from this chain in a gas station. Would have liked to have more seating, but that didn't deter from the great ice cream.

Went to breakfast here on a busy holiday weekend. Everything we had was perfectly cooked to order. Eggs soft-scrambled and over-easy were spot-on; bacon was thick sliced, and the home made hash browns crispy golden brown and not greasy. Good coffee too. We had to wait an unusually long time to get our food, but it was a holiday weekend and we were alerted that it might take a while longer at the time we ordered. Full breakfast for 5 people was 23 dollars and change. I'll go back every time we pass through this little town.

Food was good. I ordered 'Chicken, Bacon, Ranch Sandwich'. There was no ranch. Sweet tea was good. The 'bread bar' is not do able since bariactric surgery, no alernative. Coffee was instant, via Keurig -per waitress. According to manager,it was brewed. Who knows. Had a taste, like hazelnut, regular coffee was ordered. Water, tea, coke was offered.

My wife and I dropped by one day on the way to Queen Wilhelmina State Park. Everything was cozy and relaxed. The staff was courteous and exceptionally helpful and friendly. It is early Americana still alive and well in a small eatery in west central Arkansas.
My wife ordered a vanilla frappe while I enjoyed a mocha latte and a chocolate chip cookie.
This is a great place for a mid-morning or early afternoon snack, and I highly recommend it.

The food is always good and hot with heat and you get plenty of chips and salsa! This is one of my favorite Mexican places to eat. You will not be disappointed and will not leave hungry.

Was told Papa's was the best but tried La Villa because it was higher rated on Trip Advisor. Very good, friendly service, very reasonable prices. I had a beef enchilada and chicken fajita taco with sweet tea, the wife had a burrito and enchilada: total price with tax under $14. Chicken had a good flavor, tea very good. Other food was a little bland, but for the price we were pleased. Front desk personnel were prompt and very pleasant.

It was 3rd year to visit Mena and the sixth time to eat at the chopping block. I ordered the sweet potato fries Friday night and they were cold and not cooked through. Tonight I had a ribeye and it was horrible. Over cooked and looked like it has been run over by someone - maybe a 1/2 inch thick at best.
Last time for this place.

Ate breakfast here because it was the only place open in town. The food was adequate with the biscuits & gravy the best thing on the buffet. We were rushed to finish because they were preparing the lunch buffet.

It used to be a Sonic. The food is just better. The fun. Carhops, oldie music, shakes, burgers, actually the burgers are more like Whattaburgers. I like the chicken strips, chicken strip's of chicken breast, not pressed chicken. Hot, crispy fries thick, white gravy and an onion ring. I always eat the onion ring so don't ask my husband if they do this!
