Starting your day listening to the sound of birds and parakeets, delighting yourself with all the flavors of the mountains, walking through urban streets with the touch of nature and full of traditions, sharing with people from other cultures, practicing and enjoying sports at a professional complex and finishing the night with a great latin party, fiesta, rumba. All those great things are only found together at Casa Natura, a guest house born from the dream of a young couple of building a space gathering people from around the world having a sole purpose: to create awareness about the care and preservation of our fauna and flora and the need of recycling a and reusing materials to build, construct and assemble different pieces of furniture. Our guest house is family-home- like space, growing in services and comfort to become a hostel. Our vision is having a greener and more sustainable place for our visitors.
This is a really lovely hostel. We stayed in the double jaguar room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The shared bathrooms were always spotlessly clean. The owners are very security conscious which we appreciated, there are three locked doors to get access to the property and you are given a key to each. They have a washing machine but no dryer, you have to hang your clothes on an outdoor washing line to dry but there is loads of space to do so. The girls working in the hostel are so nice and friendly, they even took in my laundry off the line when it started to rain and I wasn’t there to take them in myself. Nice cooked breakfast in the morning. Close to lots of bars and restaurants and a 30 min walk into the center of town. Overall I would recommend

Definitely one of the worst experience in an hotel. Had an issue with a stay in another hotel owned by the same group next door. So i was reluctant to stay in this one as well but they of course didn't want to cancel my stay. First i had to wait 30 minutes to get my room ready. Then you have to run the water 5 minutes to get hot water. But the worst it that when i woke up i saw ants all over the room. Went to the reception and the manager came to see the room and ask me to leave to have the room completely cleaned. When i came back i still had a lot of ants despite the room being "cleaned". When i went back to the reception they said that there is nothing else they can do. I decided to left and booked another hotel I tried ro cancel and get a refund but they didn't want to hear about. I have to stay in hotels every week end for my job so i thought being a genius 3 member with booking.com will help me but i was so wrong. Anyway, very disappointed by this hotel and group and by this poor customer service. I will of course dispute the charge though amex.

Hotel Monarca is a smallish hotel in the Itagüi area of Medellin, on the corner of Carrera 50 and Calle 83. On a motorcycle trip to Medellin my riding partner and I ended up there on a search through Booking dot com. It is an inexpensive basic hotel. It is not a fancy place, and if you are looking for an upscale hotel, this is not it. My room was very small but enough for me. The bathroom was basic but functional. My room did not have a glass in the bathroom. There was a good ceiling fan that I turned on for a while. There is secure parking for motorcycles adjacent to the hotel. The staff service was good, I had only a few interactions with them. There is a very simple restaurant there. We had both dinner and breakfast. The food is basic Colombian food. It is good and quite inexpensive. My room faced onto Carrera 50. There is a large trucking/warehouse area just across the street and they start working quite early. So Hotel Monarca filled our needs on this occasion. I would come back & would recommend it to someone looking for an inexpensive hotel.

We are a small hotel located in the Aguacatala area, right next to eafit, near the metro and the avenue of las vegas, all of our rooms are private with private bathroom, national channels, fan, minibar, etc. Call us to get the best information about prices, availability and promotions!
I didn't realize how far away from the main commercial areas of El Poblado this little guesthouse was. It was perfectly fine for my stay, and a really good deal, but I wished I'd stayed elsewhere, because I ended up spending time and money taking a taxi to and from the main areas of El Poblado once or twice a day in order to actually go to bars, restaurants, and a dance studio. Very, very nice staff. A few restaurants and one small coffeeshop a block away, plus the metro is a 5 minute walk.

I booked this hotel mainly because of the Turkish bath. Unfortunately that one was out of order. However, the staff is very friendly and they help you anyway they can with further reservations etc. Hotel is situated in a safe area.
