Fischerklause is a traditional German seafood restaurant right by the pier. Over two meals, I had the chance to sample their cooked fish (Zander) and a platter of their salads and smoked salmon and pickled herring (Matjes). Everything is well prepared and presented. I have to say that I particularly liked the cucumber salad (Gurkensalat) that came with the Zanderfilet.

Very friendly staff; nice but small terras with heating, along the river. Delicious cocktails. Good fish dishes with surprising combinations. Reasonable prices.

I went for a Course in AFZ and was recommended by a Trainer to this Place. First we came on a Thursday and it was Hering all you can eat for 5 â¬uro. The following Days we tried some more dishes and all were very tasty, fresh and not expensive at all. I won't be there the last Time. Unfortunately the opening times are only between 11.00 and 15.00

We had dinner on one occassion during our stay at the resort. The location is fantastic, right on the beach with very nice views. The food, however, did not really match the location. It was ok, but not great. We had aspargus soup which did not have much flavour and my aspargus salat for main course was so so. Service was kind of slow, but to give them credit they had a wedding reception to handle at the same time which may have impacted the quality of service at the main restaurant. I would go their again, if only for the location, which is hard to beat.

I enjoyed an excellent meal here with some business colleagues. The food is lovely and very fresh. I had a tartare of herring with beetroot as a starter which was really good and fried cod for my main which was also great. Service was very good. Highly recommended.

I was there with my girlfriend and 2 children. We got a table at the dockside with a specatular view of the water and sunset. Our food, pizzas and pasta, was delicious, my beer was nice and frosty and the girlfriends mangojuice was outstanding. Finally the bill for the evening was a positive surprise. We ended the evening with a nice walk along the harbour.

My colleague took me to Teepott in Warnemunde for dinner one night; they had a wide variety of food items - however like most restaurants, limited vegan/vegetarian options. I had ordered asparagus soup and a cucumber salad - both excellent; a new potato/asparagus side was very bland. The ambience was the best for me - as it was right by the water - and I had a table that allowed me to look out at the promenade.

We found this place while mooching round the older parts of Rostock and we were warmly welcomed by the smashing barman/waiter. You simply must go upstairs and take a photo from the gallery of this pub cum ship..amazing. The place is full of cosy corners all for yourself where you can enjoy a beer and a bite. Very traditional small menu and excellent Rostock beer. Try the dunkel! Loved it.

Visited here while on a day trip with cruise ship. Great food and service overlooking the water in Rostock. Shared the mixed salad with fish pieces, it was lovely. Also had the schnitzel. Good choice of wines. Staff were very friendly and help to choose a wine.

We spent a couple of days in Warnemunde. Found this place on trip advisor and made a reservation. They started us off with a nice gazpacho. We had the fish with butter sauce, the fish with ham and the ox cheek. All were very good. The fish were done perfectly and the flavors complimented each other well. We finished with the raspberry sorbet in lime creme with chocolate crumble. That was outstanding.
