We were able to order after a few minutes but waited 30 minutes - and then one dish was served. A slightly overcooked risotto. After a few minutes, our pizza arrived. And then after a few more, our drinks finally arrived. At this point, three separate waiters had realized that we hadnât gotten our drinks - but none of them fixed it. The pizza was large and good. Overall, I wouldnât come back because of the staff. Ciao philipbL9952UT, Many thanks for your feedback. First things first: We're pleased that you came to us, so we were especially upset to read your feedback. I would like to say on behalf of the whole team that we're very sorry that our service was messed up and that you had to wait so long for your food. We understand your annoyance very well. To put it bluntly, this was not a good day for us. Of course that is no excuse for you having to wait for such a long time. At our next team meeting we will have another thorough discussion about what happened to you, so that we can ensure that such things don't happen again. Cordiali saluti, The L'Osteria Team

We came for a much needed sit down lunch after a long morning of walking in the cold. We ordered individual size thin crust pizzas that perfectly hit the spot.

The restaurant is located in the old Mövenpick hotel which was purchased by Radisson and is straight across the street in a somewhat less expensive Radisson hotel.I had stayed for years at the Mövenpick Hotel and the fabulous breakfast they had in the part of the hotel that now houses the LaBaracca. The menu is slightly different as you order using a Ipad from which you not only order but your order ends up in the kitchen and the service is extremely fast and excellent.I have never been to a restaurant where you were served your food as fast as this.Well done!!!

The food here is absolutely wonderful. The pizza was outstanding. Their Bolognese is cooked for over 5 hours in the oven and top notch. Martina was a wonderful host and we will be eating here again before we head back home.

It happens now and then that you have to pop in to some place in a hurry and just randomly choose a place. This was one of those occasions. It was raining cats and dogs in Lübeck, it was cold we were starved and our dog refused to walk anymore. We stood outside of a place called Miera and the door was halfopen so we entered. Worried by Scandinavian experience of dog not allowed sign on the walls but the nice blonde waitress just said, "all dogs are welcome" and I saw in her eyes she meant it. It was a warm, cosy place with not so many seats left but we managed to find us a table. The service was very quick and staff unusual friendly and caring. The menu had a lot of fish dishes but the lunch of the day for 9 euro was a Seafood lasagne and since Im a Lasagnaholic..... You understand! And OMG!! what a lasagne. My experience of a Baltic Paella the day before on the beach had made me somewhat sceptic to german latino cooking but with this lasagne i was close to heaven. I could hear angels singing for me. Definitely the best lasagne i ever had. Maybe the one I had in Tel Aviv 1976 could match, maybe. The crusty cheese on top was perfect with darkbrown surface, just as I like it, Stuffed with seafood and spinach and a lovely creamy lobstersauce. This is the Usain Bolt of lasagne! And the athmosphere was perfect, music soft with high latinoinfluences. And our dog was welcome. That´s critical because if they had said "no doggy" we had went somewhere else. My wife had the same but she couldnt eat all of it so we took a doggybag and guess who´s dog was happy that afternoon!!

The antipasti was very good, and so was the secondo and the wine. But the service was entirely indifferent (an understatement); not a single smile and no friendliness whatsoever. And I certainly could have done without the view of the waitress munching away at her own dinner at the bar during my antipasti; not an endearing sight.

Went here for a family meal. Nice setting in one of Lübeckâs, original, houses. Service courteous and efficient, presentation of dishes very good. We ordered antipasti and ravioli for starters- Venetian liver for main and pannacotta for myself. All delicious. Atmosphere just lacked sparkle.
