In Boltenhagen you have both: The Baltic Sea and the forest. Right behind our holiday resort you will find Tarnewitz jungle, a wild mixed forest consisting of alders, poplars, oaks and old pines. A 400 m long way will lead you to the beach, through the coastal forest and along the promenade. It is not only our rental caravans where you can spend a comfortable holiday. Our Sweden cottages or tipis also guarantee a unique holiday pleasure. The holiday homes‘ and Tipis‘ terraces are big enough for happy and relaxing moments. The leisure offers are opulent. Tennis, diving courses, volleyball, minigolf and the spa area „Paradies“ with different saunas, rasul bath, tepidarium, massage – and cosmetic area and kneipp garden provide variation during your holiday. No matter if it‘s spring, summer, autumn or winter – in Boltenhagen, one of the oldest seaside resorts, you can spend a great holiday.
We (2 adults, 1 toddler) were at Camp Regenbogen for a few nights with a camper van and paid an insane price of 63€ per night. What you get for your money: Small pitches all close together, mostly permanent campers, neighbors offering late night musical entertainment (guitar, trumpet, loud music), and last but not least: Rather slow wifi only in selected areas (unfortunately we did not have any reception). The sanitary buildings are quite new, but the guests mostly don’t care: There were beer bottles in the men's shower and the handle of the shower was stuck with chewing gum for two consecutive days. There are a lots of children on the campsite, but there is only one children's bathroom per sanitary building, which is often occupied and in which the shower handles are partly defective. The children’s bathroom we used had no windows at all. Nice are the large playground, the supermarket and bakery directly in front of the campsite and the proximity to the beach. Overall, however, definitely not to be recommended. In the end, it's way too expensive. What a rip-off!

The Havelberge Camping and Holiday Resort lies right on the lakeshore, on wooded, hilly terraces. Camping and more in our richly situated Camping and Holiday Resort in the Mecklenburg Lake District: here 'more' really is more - much more. Here you'll find a place to swim with a large lawn and a tent meadow for canoeists. In our water sports centre you can hire various canoes (Canadians, kayaks) and rowboats. For beginners we offer introductory canoeing courses. From Woblitzsee you can discover the Mecklenburg Lake District on your own or on tour with one of our guides. The lake terrace of the Havelberge restaurant invites all to relax, look around, and enjoy the weather and the food. The restaurant's interior also is a cosy place to rest and relax. The theatre stage, hosting many performances, lies right in front of the terrace. We do however take meticulous care not to let those events go on too long, to ensure other guests enjoy a proper night's sleep. For our little guests we have an attractively designed playground too. During the summer months our professional entertainment troupe puts on all kinds of fun and creative things for the children, and with them as well. Our entertainment programme doesn't neglect youths, either. After a refreshing hike through the woods or a boat trip across the water, what could be nicer than a sauna in our Finnish hut right by the lake? And afterwards to take an even more refreshing plunge into the lake? Your daily needs (fresh, crunchy German bread rolls, groceries, newspapers, camping items) can be purchased in our shop right on the resort. Our sanitary facilities meet modern standards and come with facilities for the disabled, and naturally have washing machines and tumble dryers. For motorhome tourists there's a waste disposal station. If desired, spaces with electric hook-ups are available outside the barriers.
This restaurant is located within the Havelberge Camping Resort and thus only accessible if you are camping there, or park your car outside the premises and walk in. Tired of cooking in a cramped camper, we ate dinner there twice. The service was good and the food, although maybe not quite of gourmet quality, was tasty and attractively presented. It’s nice to sit outside on the terrace in the forest. Unfortunately a lot of the dishes were unavailable on our visits (probably because it wasn’t high season any more), so we couldn’t try a couple of things we would like to have ordered. The portions are generous so if you aren’t that hungry, ask for a half-sized plate.

I will write in italian & english to be sure I can share my experience with most people possible. I've been there with my partner for camping. Experience was great. Location is amazing, in the nature with many woods and a nice lake where you can enjoy nice walks and swims. I was there in summer, it was nice in both seasons. Camping place is extremely quite because it's in the nature, atbthe same time easy to be reached thanks to street made of asphalt so with any kind of vehicle. Some villages around with shops and supermarket. It's a renewed place in good shape and properly cared. Comfortable spots. Many services available: elettricity, gas, laundry, wi-fi, comfortable bathrooms, snack bar (imbiss) where hot discesa are server. Staff is very kind and funny. They try to help any request. During the day someone is always available and there is an emergency contact in case of assistance at night. I think it's worth to try that and come back again when possible in order to relax and enjoy nature!!

Pitched amongst trees with plenty of space. The facility block was very good- free hot water, showers, underfloor heating, toilet paper and soap all provided. Bought food from the restaurant as take away a couple of times and it was cooked to order and very good. Bread and croissants from shop were good quality. Visited Rugen island whilst here for a day trip and also coastline locally. Hope to return again.
