Featured in Sunset Magazine ~ A new style of accommodations in Oregon's Wine Country, 3rd Street Flats offers guests the stylish touches of a hotel, the hospitality of a bed & breakfast, and all the amenities of a vacation rental. Inspired by our own European travels and a desire for authentic travel experiences, we offer guests the chance to rent their own apartment in the heart of Historic Downtown McMinnville. Stay for a night or stay for a week, but stay long enough to fully experience the amazing food and wine that's all just a few steps away.
This stay was very convenient to local restaurants. The room itself was nice and well furnished. Not sure if all the units are this way but the bathroom was very small with a tiny sink. Maybe we were just unlucky the nights we stayed but the noises from the streets below were very loud while we were trying to sleep. There is a large flight of stairs with no elevator. Overall we were good with our stay but felt like these negatives needed to be pointed out. Can't beat the location to the downtown restaurants.

Great location to town center with a nice walk to dining and everything nearby. Take outs close-by if you don't wish to venture too far. Breakfast and amenities were a plus as we didn't know they were available. Andrea and staff were polite and very helpful.

We stayed in four Comfort Inns on our Oregon trip. We will be staying in more in the future as we were impressed with the appearance, comfort, and cleanliness. They all seemed new, with all the conveniences such as many electrical outlets and charging stations. The beds and high quality sheets were very comfortable. This had the same quality. But the management seemed less caring. The gardens around the motel were full of weeds. Most Comfort Inns were taking COVID precautions and had a breakfast bag. Here the precautions were less apparent. What breakfast that was available was in the breakfast room where customers were milling about, at least one without a mask. It did appear that many people were eating next door in the café instead. MdMinnville is a beautiful city and we enjoyed our visit, spending little time in the room. It was comfortable, but we were less impressed with the management. We doubted extra sanitizing was done in the room.

Oregon’s premier wine country estate and one of Wine Spectator’s favorite locations; set on a 50 acre hilltop surrounded by vineyard. We have an amazing 29 year old vineyard that is farmed organically. We are well known for producing award winning Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris wines. As passionate farmers and winemakers we are thrilled to share, educate, and talk wine. The Inn provides the perfect winery and getaway experience.
We had a wonderful stay. Innkeeper Becky was gracious and very accommodating. We arrived just in the afternoon and retired to the back porch for a delicious tasting of their wines. Our room was comfortable and cozy, and afforded spectacular views of the valley below. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed sharing stories with other guests. Our stay was the perfect opportunity for us to unwind, reflect on our adventures in the Willamette Valley, and plan the rest of our trip to the Oregon coast. I highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is very close to the Evergreen Air and Space Museum which is why we stayed there. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and about half the price of the Comfort Inn across the street, The negatives are that they do not have a free breakfast and there are no in room coffee makers, The former is mitigated by the fact that McD shares a parking lot, As for the latter, they do keep a pot of coffee in the lobby, but it was pretty stale when I got a cup at 5:30 AM. In room coffee makers are so ubiquitous that it did not occur to me that here might not be one. All in all an excellent value.+

On McMinnville's charming, old main street, Hotel Oregon strikes an inviting pose - as it has since 1905. Once home to a restaurant and lounge, banquet hall, Greyhound bus depot, Western Union, soda fountain and beauty parlor, the handsome four-story building we call Hotel Oregon is a delightful destination in the heart of Oregon's wine country.Warm lighting in the first floor pub, cozy tables and an impressive 40-foot long back bar invite close conversation over the glint of a fresh pint or maybe a game of shuffle board in the Paragon room. Artwork and wall hangings inspire thoughts of the past and a trip to the subterranean bistro-style Cellar Bar or magnificent Rooftop Bar (with its breathtaking 360-degree view of the region) are a must for any visitor to the hotel.
We stopped by this hotel/restaurant because we are passport members. If you don’t know about this and live in or frequently visit Oregon, check it out at any McMenimen’s location. This is a classic old hotel, remodeled and repainted in the bright colorful mcMenimen’s style, as always, honoring the original location and history. Look up the walking tour on their website if you have time and explore everything! Or, stop by the ground floor restaurant or rooftop bar and enjoy a drink, a snack or a full meal. We are fans of the tiny corn dog “scooby snacks” but the menu is broad and there will be something for everyone. I enjoyed a ginger-blood Orange cider. The beer options are also good and they have a classic variety of mixed drinks.

The Douglas on Third is a locally owned Boutique Hotel conveniently located in McMinnville's historic downtown.
The location is great and the price is right. We loved the new restaurant HIFI just below us. It's a very small intimate space . The only complaint is the bathroom is between the entry room & the bedroom.
