For quick bite on the go, this place serves the purpose, although I cannot say I was too impressed by the quality of the food on display. Pizza is served by taking a slice from the display and heating it under the grill. Quick service though, price wise reasonable.

Szkoda bo lokal z zewnątrz wygląda fajnie, Pani która tam pracuje mega przemiła i widać że się stara, niestety właściciel nastawiony nie na jakoś miesa, niestety. Kto co lubi, ja podziękuję.

Ucieranie Tresci

Reviewed By ClogsPL

Ucierany is housed in a renovated old brick factory building on Olowkowa street in downtown Pruszkow. In old times, the Majewski factory was located in this building, where Bambino pencils were produced, famous throughout Poland. The old factory is still active, on much smaller scale, just behind the restaurant. The restaurant is effectively a Dom Weselne as well, as there are large rooms on upper floors where large and smaller groups can be hosted for entertainments like wedding and birthday parties. On the upper floor there is a dancing space with overhead balcony. The quaintness of the building, which obviously was lovingly restored, is a small part of the customer entertainment, which is heightened with sheets of drawing paper on the tables, inviting customers to draw on as they want with original Bambino pencils. A large part of the entertainment is naturally of a gastronomic nature. As I said, the fare is not especially to my liking, a bit heavy on the butter and flour. However everything is well prepared and matches the cuisine of PRL times, when the factory building was at the height of its operation. I had flattened steak with pickle salad and flour with butter noodles on the side. My wife had beet salad and bread soup, and my son wolfed down his kotlet mielone (ground meat patty) with potatoes and announced that it was to his liking. We finished with espresso (served with the glass of water), ice cream (home made) and baked budyn (tasty). Sincerely recommended, even though the dishes are rather heavy.
