Peppo is a favored restaurant for those who are after meat cooked to order, as their been, especially, but other meats as well as fresh fish, are cooked to order and always seem to please. Reasonable prices; generally a la carte but look for the "plato del dia" or three course meals often available at lunch.

Though a very popular and typically Talquina restaurant with a good atmosphere, reflecting the artisan culinary tradition of Maule, over the last few years from been a place of consistently served good food ,the management has some what took the eyes off the ball. These days the quality of food and the customer can be some what random. Where some days you will be served excellent food to others, when it would be charitable to call the meals mediocre. Customer service can also be very random, with the majority of the waiters for what can be presumed to be some sort of macho pride, will refuse write down even the most complicated order, rather they commit the order to memory , with the predictable chaos when "your order" arrives. When the restaurant is busy it is not uncommon for your table to be completely forgotten by the waiting staff. For the visitor to Talca this is "THE" restaurant for those who want to experience the most typical Maulinian "Huaso" dining experience with it's raucous, phonetic atmosphere, For those looking looking for guaranteed good food reliable customer service and a relaxing atmosphere this is probably not the restaurant for you

This restaurant is part of a Casino/Hotel complex but open to the general public.
Having had already enough quick lunches at the Mall whenever we're in Talca for business, we decided to make a quick stop for lunch here. The food was nothing less than fantastic: The clam chowder was phenomenal, and the arroz con mariscos exquisite. The service was spotless; the prices OK. They offer a luch menu for about $6.500 pesos and it looked quite appetizing. I'd definitely stop by again, only next time with a bit more time to enjoy it the place even more!

After a night of partying I was hungry and a friend took me to this place for a "completo italiano", it was delicious! I highly recommend it after a night of drinking.

Un lugar que no te esperabas a 3 cuantas de la plaza de armas de Talca. Happy hour todos los dias de 18:00 a 22:00 hrs
In Loba, you will taste and enjoy one of the best steak plates. Juicy, smoked, and full of savour. In a combination with fried potatoes, a small salad and a cold refreshing drink, that's enough for a quick teleportation to a different world.

A wide range of fine seafood and tables, followed by main based on meat as lomo a lo pobre or pasta and homemade desserts adapted to our culture , have enabled its owner, Miguel Angel Abasolo Russo , keep a food with a high standard quality , but still gi
I guess our mistake was in not ordering the meat...which looked great . Unfortunately we got there early and went for a seafood and a pasta dish. Both were marginal at best because of the quantity of salt used in both dishes. So, I guess the tip here is....order a meat dish......maybe with less salt.

Lugar muy acogedor , excelente atención y muy buena cocina , atendido por sus dueños . Un lugar diferente donde te sentirás como en casa .
We had an exceptional evening at Lo de Julio! Despite being a Chilean public holiday and a Monday (when the restaurant is ordinarily closed), Julio and his family opened to receive our group of nine. The restaurant is established in Julio's house, and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and at home. We had the best pisco sours we tried during our time in Chile, beautiful local wines, and every dish of every course was delicious â great flavours, incredibly fresh and beautifully presented!! The meal was world-class, but the personal service and family feel made it particularly special....so much so that we stayed eating and talking for over 5 hours! Thank you â we look forward to coming back next time when we are in Talca!!!

The most typical restaurant of the Maule Valley. With all the ancient recipes of our land and the most traditional environment with a exposition of pictures of the old city, ancient working tools and much more. This restaurant is also the headquarters of
My accommodation recommended this place. It didn't disappoint (after an hour's cycle). The service was attentive, the food 5 star, the wine unbelievable, and the price comparable to a cheap takeaway back home. After dessert, I wandered the vineyards and then bought four bottles of wine at prices that were basically giveaways. No visit to Talca is complete without this amazing destination!

Our large range of sandwiches and dishes are expressed in every single detail: Service and quality. Creating a new culture to enjoy.
When I first arrived in Chile was greatly troubled when I asked for coffee and was handed a cup with hot hater and a plastic packet of NesCafe. I could not believe that the coffee culture had not surpassed powdered instant coffee. The first thing I did was start asking locals where I could get "REAL" coffee. A girl I met said she had a friend that she had known while living in Australia that had a new coffee shop in Centro Talca. I was brought to La Cafeteria where I was introduced to the proprietor who to my delight spoke fluent English. Lander provides the best coffee in Talca and the food is amazing.I have since been coming there every time I arrive in Talca and treated as a family member and provided with American style food upon request. I have since become very good friends with the owner whom if can find the time to sneak away for a minute or two will join me for a coffee and discussion on current events. I have also been advised with solutions to typical problems I may experience while traveling.La Cafeteria is a must stop for any Americans while in the Maule Region.Richard Cassius MorrisConstruction MangementMartha's Vineyard Massachusetts
